No, I’m talking about Kimetsu

A few days ago people apparently found out that the Kimetsu website has the same host as Neverland.
So a few people on 4chan have been saying that Kimetsu is being produced by Aniplex like Neverland.
I’m just asking if there’s any validity to that, or did somebody just make a bs rumor

I remember hearing about that shortly after people found out about the existance of the Kimetsu website. There were even some screenshots on twitter comparing the two registered websites. It was basically the same screenshot that went around for Neverland just for Kimetsu iirc.

This was probably a few days after the Neverland website got registered and before it was officially confirmed that Aniplex is doing it. So I guess the chances of it being real are high.

Compared to last year the winner seems to be Black Clover with selling 1.2 million more. The biggest loser would be One Piece with selling almost 3 million less.

Black Clover 7th position over Neverland and Shokugeki has pleasantely surprised me (other surprise for me was Nanatsu being 3rd).

Did 7DS get a boost somewhere? It jumped close to a million from last year?

One Piece cannot be helped though as it only released 1 volume in the time period for this ranking. The ranking starts November 20, 2017 which means the first 2 weeks of Volume 87, the weeks it sells over a million are excluded. Only Volume 88 has its full sales counted. The same applies to Heroaca, which had Volume 16 cut off so only Volume 17 and 18 were able to be fully counted, along with backlog.

Taizai had three volumes counted in this ranking, one in December, one is February and one in April, along with backlog. Besides BC, Neverland is showing quite excellent growth. The backlog boost from the Konomanga award really pushed it up. Putting aside the yearly ranking, the next half-yearly ranking will be fun to see as the anime will start in January meaning that it can take full advantage of the time period and the entire boost can be seen.

Tbh, I also find it impressive that HeroAca managed to get about the same amount of backlog sales as BC (at least it looks that way). BC anime has been continously running throughout the whole 6 months while HeroAca S3 had only been running for 1.5 months on May 20.

The only reason 7DS and Haikyuu are higher than it is because they had 3 volumes out during that time. This would put HeroAca on top 3 probably at the end of the year. IIRC last year it was 4th at the end of the year?

I remember some people predicting it to be at its peak, but to me this looks like the anime is still boosting sales quite a lot. Would be interesting to know how big this boost is compared to S2.

Btw, I don't intend to start a discussion here whether BC or HeroAca is better or whatever. I think we had enough of that already. Just noticed this and wanted to point it out, unless I overlooked sth and HeroAca's backlog sales aren't that high.
