The revelations in Neverland's newest chapter where really good and truly made believe the manga has what it takes to grow even further.
Well it's only 7 volumes in, if it couldn't grow even further then it's fucked, no?The revelations in Neverland's newest chapter where really good and truly made believe the manga has what it takes to grow even further.
Soma got to the same point and didn't grow much more. Neverland's newest volume crossed Soma's newest volume.Well it's only 7 volumes in, if it couldn't grow even further then it's fucked, no?
Lmao touche.Soma got to the same point and didn't grow much more. Neverland's newest volume crossed Soma's newest volume.
I wish Beelzebub would come back. For the most part that manga was awesomeBeelzebub was like a Gintama. A comedy manga with a battle manga aesthetic. Not necessarily a parody, yet self aware. I think it was pretty successful for such a tonally ambitious manga in Jump.
One of my favorite manga ever.
This is completely normal hello??Neverland's newest volume crossed Soma's newest volume.
My boy Yabuki can turn anything he touches into silver, just like my God Murata turns anything he touches into gold.Man, Yabuki is unrestrained on Jump Plus
You guys think the first volume of DarliFra will be as successful as World End Harem? I think it have a legitimate shot at being a 100k seller
24 anime episodes is at least 8 volumes in manga
8 volumes is at least 2 years in real life time
this is kinda of a long term commitment so it better be successful for Yabuki's sake
I disagree, for me the number of years counts, especially in these times when manga that once would have lasted years now can not overcome oneNumber of years is irrelevant.
The following is the usual pattern;
1. Manga starts
2. Gets popular and gets decent to good rank consistently
3. Magazine push (CPs, marketing, Vomic, Drama CV etc.) helps volume sales peak without anime
4. Anime announced which leads to some interest in the series
5. Anime airs and the series sales picks up. Number of years in this is irrelevant.
6. Anime constantly airs but series sales will not increase further or increase is very minimal meaning peak sales has been obtained. Number of years in this is irrelevant.
7. Anime continues but sales either remain constant for some more time or start dipping if the quality of the arcs start dipping. Number of years in this is irrelevant.
8. The manga could end here but many times, the anime ends first (No more new seasons)
9. Sales keep dipping if manga keeps going and then eventually manga either ends on its own or is cancelled
There are obvious exceptions to this but GENERALLY this is how it goes.
Step 6 is where BC is at right now. There was an increase in sales of around 30-50k which was visible clearly. But the sales increase is almost non-existent now. Look at the increase TPN is getting past month. THAT's a notable increase and it's still there. It's still impacting the volume sales.
Can BC increase more? Sure, plausible. But that would mean it needs to pull something really good outta its rear to generate more buzz. I don't see that happening. Unless you tell me there was something amazing that could be animated this season which will generate great buzz, I don't see another increase coming.

It does not seem to me that Boruto is so successful as to justify a film ....Yeah, I feel like they won't give up yet. They'll probably go at it for only one more year in full force though. They might have a season two planned already. A movie seems possible, but Pierrot might focus on Boruto movies instead, since they probably are more profitable.
I look forward to the day I try out Toriko, it looks so good. I need to catch up to Kimetsu. Why is that hard to believe? It's not just Toriko but a lot of other battle shonens have little asspulls. Toriko came to mind since it's the more recent ones that had very little to none asspulls.
Anyway someone cleared it up and it wasn't an asspull. I guess people, including myself, were jumping to conclusions as people on 2ch were fine with the recent spoiler.
I really don't get why people wish for something to end. You know you could just... don't read it if you hate it that much? It's like "I hate it so my opinion is absolute I want it gone". Please think about the mangaka and the fact that it's literally their jobs and they get a living out of that. Not that your words matter at the end of the day but still idgiLmao touche.
A shame that Soma is still going, I want to see it end soon. Just put it out of it's misery already.
Anime did really poorly that it got canned early and sales of the manga didn't really increase. Ranking wise it remained stagnant throughout until it got canned. Was beel a complete flop though? I mean, yeah it wasn't a huge success but it was more comedy than action I'd say.
If you consider it as a comedy manga, it did pretty well. Furuichi was one of the funniest characters WSJ had since maybe anything from Gintama.
But yeah, if you talk about it as a battle manga, I'd say it didn't do well.
sometimes you can be a fan of something, but continue to read it every weeks, even when the quality has dropped, due to obligation that you need to see the series end due to being a fan.I really don't get why people wish for something to end. no, this is the first time TPN overtook Soma while on Oricon 50This is completely normal hello??
Um what? How did you even get that translation? He is apologizing for melt down after working very hard on episode 17 and that the staff are exhausted. He also said in another tweet prior to this that he'll disclose something after episode 17.I don't want to get into this too much but the cons (or more likely the schedule) of long running anime are already catching up with BC.
I posted this in the BC anime thread, but the director, Yoshihara is apologizing for Episode 17, saying that lots of parts "melted" and that its due to his lack of ability. What this means exactly we'll have to see on Tuesday but it can be anything from a few bad frames to some pretty bad sequences.
I know that, i’m talking about new series surpassing establish series in sales. Completely normal.no, this is the first time TPN overtook Soma while on Oricon 50
It is boo boo. I hate it.How is Food Wars lately? Haven't read since people were triggered off that match. It's been months.
I don't read it atm and what's wrong with me wanting it to end? The longer it goes on, the worse it'll get. I enjoyed Soma but I have to say it's gone to shit lately and the big decline in sales speaks for itself. It's just like how when Toriko was declining in quality a lot near the end that I wanted it to end and I'm glad it ended the way it did since if it went on longer then it would've degraded the quality even further. Same applies for Soma. There's only so much you can do with the shokugeki concept and most shokugeki's are so predictable.I really don't get why people wish for something to end. You know you could just... don't read it if you hate it that much? It's like "I hate it so my opinion is absolute I want it gone". Doctor Stone isn't surpassing any established series just yet and BC never caught up to Soma.I know that, i’m talking about new series surpassing establish series in sales. Completely normal.
Death Note says: no.Well it's only 7 volumes in, if it couldn't grow even further then it's fucked, no?
