You can immediately tell if it's Toei if they overly glisten the muscles of the characters. They did that stupid shit with Toriko & DB:S, it's just really awkward the way Toei does it. Call it a nitpick but idrc, I don't want HZ looking like that.

The franchise gets pretty unfair treatment here, its unfair to us fans. You dont see people ceaselessly, and without remorse, attacking series like HeroAca or One Piece.

I don't even hate Black Clover anymore.
It's a trainwreck sure, but it's at least a fun trainwreck now. All the bad things that could be said about Tabata's writing has already said so further attacks do feel kind of redundant, but this bizarre need from some users to defend the series at any and every point a slight at the series is made just reeks of insecurity .

I mean it's not like other popular series haven't suffered backlash here. Remember how many people disliked the License Exam arc in MHA? Or all of Naruto part 2 sans the Pain arc (which even then the ending recieved wide backlash) or all of Reborn! (Which I'm even a fan of despite very obvious criticisms).

If people have valid criticisms for a series and/or you disagree then that's fine but at least have substance to your rebuttals other than "STOP DISLIKING WHAT I LIKE".

I'd say right now Black Clover is one of best manga running in Jump. Personally, I'm enjoying it right now more than Hero Academia, Neverland or Dr.Stone. That's just everyone tastes.

Still, Black Clover has a huge handicap: Pierrot is behaving like they truly want the anime adaptation to be a big failure. Didn't remember a Jump anime failing so hard as Black Clover is failing.

So is the new strategy just to blame Pierrot for just essentially following the manga rather than the source of material just not being well-written? I mean shit wasn't all Black Clover fans ecstatic that Pierrot was animating it despite the precautions that were thrown about before it aired? Its technically not even a failure, Beelzebub and Medaka Box were real failures i.e. the anime flopped and there was no significant boost in sales.

BLack Clover ranks high and is consistently top 5 in the cumulative year ranks, but I dont see you and other BLack clover opponents praising Tabata's masterful writing. The material is flawless and accepted as quality entertainment by readers.

But the pacing is at the same pace as other shows, theyve been consistently doing more than 2chps per episode now, todays episode 23, brings us to scenes covering through the end of chp 31...

Its pacing is no different from other Pierrot adaptations like Naruto and Bleach, shit did people forget how slow early Shippuden was? Did the fast pacing in the manga only benefited it so the bad writing didn't linger on to be noticeable?
