Mangastream also scanlated Hot.

When was last time Mangastream or Jaimini scanlated one Jump oneshot (Burn the Witch doesn't count, Kubo is Kubo)? And when was last time both of them scanlated one same Jump oneshot?

Some recent sales observations:
MHA movie has had a noticeable increase in the sales, and they’re still rising. With how HQ is dropping, we can probably expect the next volume of MHA to outdo it, making it the second best seller in the magazine.

Yuuna anime has done practically nothing for manga sales with only four backlog volumes making it into the top 500 the day the anime aired, and even they had all dropped out within 4 days. Latest volume had the worst sales yet, with a considerable drop over the previous volume (although this was before the anime aired. Might be time to start getting worried in a few months.

Latest Muhyo, Jigokuraku, Hinomaru, and Act-age volumes are all performing very similarly atm, so they’ll probably end up around 20k I guess.

Jujutsu volume 1 has been very stable and is still sitting at around the 150 mark 1 month after its release. As a comparison, Act-Age’s second volume which released at the same time dropped out of the top 500 over 2 weeks ago.

Will be interesting to see how Black Clover 17 does in the coming weeks, since 16 only sold 2k more than 15 did by its third week despite having two extra days (so it arguably did worse in that period, though it did charted longer).

Yuuna is currently setting up the final arc anyway so I don't think we need to worry about a sudden cancellation, if it keeps going in this direction it could end normally this year pretty easily. It's not the kind of series that'll need a 30+ chapter long finale. Something like 2-3 more set up chapters, 10-15 chapter final arc, and a couple chapters for the epilogue would be a pretty natural feeling ending.

WSJ romcoms/harems never last very long, remember Ichigo 100% was the longest until Nisekoi and it ended on ch 167.

With the last developments in Yuuna it could end anytime imo, it wouldn't be strange.

I wonder if Yuuna will end before Gintama, it's certainly possible at this point.

With an observation like this, I don't think it's completely unreasonable for it to reach a million somewhere in the next few volumes. But I'm not gonna count my chickens before they hatch, though. So I'll just wait and see.

I was remembering how I failed my prediction about Shokugeki being the next one Jump manga to end. It had all the signals for that.

Did HQ ever hit 1 million for a volume? I know some hit 900k at least.

Jaminibox dropped My Hero? They're up to date on other jump titles like Stone, BC, WNL, etc. If so damn I wonder why, their translation is a lot less cringe than mangastream and they have better scan quality, mangastream's scan quality looks like they crank up the saturation for no reason

@here
I feel like her art is very empty in this. Dunno why, feels incomplete.

How dare you logically say HQ is dropping!? Don't you know, its converted to 40-60% digital sales???

It definitely had 1 million print number for about two years. I'm gonna assume those volumes eventually did hit one million.

Their translations were a lot worse than Mangastream though (both were bad but MS was the lesser of two evils) and this isn't the first time they've dropped it either.

I feel like a shuiesha magazine where successful veterans can publish serialization with full freedom and at their own schedule would be a good idea(idk how released would be scheduled though).
Similar to Image Comics in America
Image Comics was created by writers and artists after they got out of Marvel and DC tho Mangaka can do that if they want to but it's going to be difficult
I think a Vertigo-like magazine would be more interesting than a image-like

Is the second of regular series, but if we count HxH is the third.

I'm glad that MHA might grow even more. Hopefully the movie is really successful.

Yuuna is probably in trouble, but it's not like romcoms need to be the longest series anyway. Hinomaru probably isn't in the best position either, but it does have an upcoming anime.

HOT was pretty hot and amazing. Best One Shot in the manga in years. Im glad Akira Amano still remains at the top of her game is showing folks how to get it done. I love the good work she continues to do.

Ah I love this one shot so much and want to print it out and post many of its panels. Everything about it was perfect and lovely. Talks a lotsy, the zany child rearing with the ice hockey trainings and even the epic guy on guy court action. HOld me.

Viz is doing a bonus issue for One Punch Man? Maybe they do want to catch up.

also I guess this puts the nail in Jujutsu's (or any of the currently ongoing series) coffin until it comes time for a home release

New special reprint information:
Urgent reprints that go directly to stores. These are the ones that are most pressing and a series getting in here is a good sign:

These are less pressing and go to warehouse and are sent out as needed
*手*
8/7 ジャンプ D.Gray-man 25 星野 桂
8/10 ジャンプ ニセコイ 1~3 古味 直志

Jujutsu is pretty much the next upcoming hit, as long as it stays good. This is the second time the first volume is being reprinted. Stone, Bokuben getting reprints for all volumes is also a good sign, especially as they're urgent. I wonder if this is in preparation for something though. Heroaca is getting another all volume reprint and this time an urgent one. It previously got 2 reprints, half urgent and the other to the warehouse. This was on 7/27 and 8/1 respectively and included 1-15,17-18. Now, its 1-18 and even vol. 19 which is quite rare for Heroaca. Slam Dunk just keeps on going though.
