Zenitsu

you're rightI wouldn't really put the royal roads as a manga trend as those are universal. Sure they may be dying down now but you do get huge successes like Heroaca and smaller successes like Black Clover which are royal road series to a T.
How the hell Zenitsu is in 29th place with 44 votes? XD I remember sister Krone also got some votes in KnY's poll last time too lol.The rest of the TPN poll:
Prob b/c of these memes. I cant find the original tweetHow the hell Zenitsu is in 29th place with 44 votes? XD I remember sister Krone also got some votes in KnY's poll last time too lol.
Dragon Ball Z is not a manga.Trends for me:
70s: baseball (Samurai Giants, Astro Kyuudan, Play Ball), and hard-boiled characters (Otoko Ippiki, Koya no Shonen Isamu, Doberman Deka, Circuit no Okami, Cobra, even Kochikame and Dokonjo Gaeru would fall n this trend. Exception would be Ring ni Kakero).
80s: MANga (Kinnikuman, Hokuto no Ken, JoJo, Sakigake, City Hunter, you could add Dragon Ball Z, and in soooooome way Captain Tsubasa. Exception would be Saint Seiya)
90s: delinquents (Slam Dunk, Yu Yu Hakusho, Rokudenashi Blues, you could add early Yu-Gi-Oh and Kenshin in some way)
End 90-beginning 00s: rebel MCs (One Piece, Naruto, Bleach)
00s: good-short boys (HxH, Eyeshield21, Hitman Reborn, D-Grayman, this could extend to Kuroko no Basket, Assasination Classroom, Haikyuu, and Hero Academia. Exceptions would be Toriko (well, Komatsu is still in this trend) and Death Note)
Current 10s: trend looks is oriented to demon stuff (Promised Neverland, Kimetsu no Yaiba, Jujutsu, Black Clover in a way, even Yuuna-san now, maybe also Assasination Classroom in a way. Big exception is Dr.Stone).
But is second clear part of Dragon Ball manga, even to the point outside Japan they sell is at a manga. And it clearly got the MANga 80 vibes that Dragon Ball part 1 maybe didn't have. I've put that in the chart to be more accurate.Dragon Ball Z is not a manga.
Serie. Only volume will be out 04/12.Jaiminis just released the pilot chapter before jujutsu kaisen.

Was it a series or oneshot on giga? I don't remember.
Based on this, Haikyuu and Heroaca would be outliers as they are from the previous decade but you can chalk it up to them being royal roads. I don't know if you can really say this entire decade trends towards demon stuff as they really began taking off from around Kimetsu. Sure they were taking off from Blue Exorcist but that's SQ. Jump I feel really took off in this demon trend from Kimetsu and Neverland. Jujutsu seems like its a mix of exorcist and demon manga, almost like a better Black Torch.Trends for me:

Of course there's trends. You think Jump starting dabbing in romantic comedies in the early to mid 80s not because Sunday was kicking their ass with Touch and Urusei Yatsura? Then winded up being a trend setter themselves with Fist of the North Star towards the end of the decade only to start following trends again with their own delinquent manga Rokudenashi Blues when it was the hottest thing. Jump just don't make these trends define their magazine like the competition usually do.There are no trends.
Each period takes certain characteristics simply.
Slam Dunk and Haykyuu are both spokons for esmepio, but they have different types of characters.
It did end. The French publisher said it was "meant to be a short series" or something along those lines I think. (Here)BTW what happened with Black Torch? Was it axed?
