He could split it into multiple panels, increase the page number, and add more art. I dont see how there is "not much you can do" when we have had jump authors add and change things in the volume versions.

Theres actually tons of options he could have used to show some of the stuff in that panel using pictures.

Diagrams to show the abilities to do x on the enemy,
Diagram to show the different nen types of how Predator is weak against those types, another drawing could show this
Spray and Pray method = picture can be used for this as well
Panel that mentions Kurapika, obvious could have shown Kurapika there, maybe him getting eliminated as an hope or aspiration of his
Panel that mentions his wealth of experience in life and death situations = clearly could show pictures of his past achievements, accomplishments, or experiences
Panel where he uses examples of Battlefield/Armies/Assassins, again all of this multiple options for pictures
Soldiers = show us the soldiers
48hrs to recharge = could have shown a clock or a timer
Mentions the princes, and room 1009, show us this

It isnt hard to think about how there are multiple ways that these many panels of text could be enhanced to show stuff. For a manga, a full on page of text separated in panels (why even separate if its text on a white background?), is really not using the most of the medium.

Perhaps it was a time-crunch and he had to rush through this, but again as I said, we've seen Furudate add pages to Haikyuu!!, perhaps Togashi can do the same here and redo this page differently.

You can do a page or an arc without using some tools.Like a movie or a game not using sound for a part, or Blame in general.
You can also try to be minimalist with the art, like some Anshin's scenes in Medaka Box or even some Bleach scenes(the heart is a good example of using only text in one page. People meme'd it , but is a good and impactfull scene).
But that page is nothing like that, is looks lazy, and I don't know how Togashi can fix it in the volume.

Moments like these where he should take a hiatus and really think about how the media can enhance his storytelling. Reminds me of all those articles people write about, how to choose a medium for your story (Comic book, novel, or screenplay).

That page this chapter is an example of a failure.

I think a proper manga editor would at least raise their eyebrows at seeing so many imageless white space panels back to back and question it.

I honestly dont understand how people are celebrating such a page and ignoring that there are more optimal ways to deliver the content than the way he presented it on that page.

There is always a better way to do things, but people are overreacting.

this page doesn't imply that he can't make comics, or he must chose novels as medium, his paneling is good generally.

Togashi isn't lazy or any mangaka for that matter. They do something that's lazy (i.e poor art) but it doesn't make them lazy. They work longer hours than most people can mentally endure.

I dont find that page lazy. I never read the recent chapters in detail so I can't really comment about the context. I mainly read HxH by the volumes since that's the best way IMO. This arc pretty much breaks down everyone's thought process. I guess he may just add background panels at most. A lot of character monologues and mind battles requires a lot of effort to make it flow properly, more so than filling in a panel. Not saying it couldn't have been better so I do see where people are coming from but IMO it's not a big deal.

BLack Clover and boring should never hardly ever be in the same sentence. Time aligned, HeroAca was boring while BLack Clover was exciting at this point in time.
