BLack Clover is in the top 10 of the year, and taking into account that it most likely is averaging 700K with digital sales, it is an unmitigated success.
BC can barely scrape 300k with physical copies, there's no way its selling 350k+ in digital

So, after 50 episodes... we can talk about how disappointing was Black Clover boost, no?

Still a 300k avg, even after an anime with 50 episodes.
Disappointing ?

They are very high sales.

Then obviously he's nothing comparable to Hero or Neverland but in the average Jump is normal.

Vol.18 still hasn't even broke 230k yet lol
And so ? As 200k were few...

Everything that could have gone wrong went wrong with the Black Clover anime. It's a total wreck outside of the occasional cut.
They missed the mark big time, and the awful state of the production is just another nail in the coffin.
Adaptations like Tokyo Ghoul were awful yet they managed to boost the manga counterpart though.
Please.

The anume is such a flop that was extendend tho time XD

Do you like or not. He made his work and made the manga more popular in the world. Thant count.

And I can yell yoi tha in Japan his very popoular.

You can say well. Tg anime was awful but despite this is mangaed to boost the manga sales. Like everybody anime adaptions.

Lol, Black Clover doesn't sell 350k per volume in digital, stop lying to yourself.

If Black Clover was the only series available to buy digital, then i could understand your argument. Stop and think, if Black Clover sell 200k per volume in digital, then other series does that as well, Black Clover is not the "only special" who sells more than any other series in digital volumes.
But all the series today less sell for digiyal sales. Hell, even One Piece.

I think black clover falls in those cases where the anime is far more popular (worldwide) than its manga counterpart. I think it's why the anime is still running despite the unimpressive manga boost. The fact that TV Tokyo and Pierrot are the only two producing the anime probably helps because they're not going to care what's happening with the manga.

200 and above sales volume is little?

But in what parallel dimension? Ok, I do not like it, but certain statements are ridiculous, come on.

I like that you talk as if 200k copies were average sales when they are considered high sales, 10k-20k are average sales ... so make two counts.

Um, what?

But if practically if you type Black CLover on google the first thing you find is either an article on the anime or one on the video game

Oh goodness, the Black Clover debate again...
Oh look, I would not care, but if I read things like "200k is not enough" or "digital sales" do not count.

Then maybe it's all about perspectives, of course.

Taking into consideration that it is considered one of the major works of Jump right now, maybe 200.00 k are little compared to the traditional standards of Jump, but I do not say that is not successful, the formula bread and shonen + theme setting is always a winning choice .....

Most people says that Black clover sales are low... Now, we are in 2018 guys, the digital sales are growing and growing. Look at One Piece 3.3 mln per volume till 2015/2016, now it's barely 2 mln, I mean 1.3 mln drop? Nah it's impossible, sure some drop can happen but 1.3 mln just no... So where are these 1.3? Exactly digital sales people, at least 900/1 mln HAS to be digital sales. Now Black Clover last physical sales numbers was 6.8 mln in 17 volumes, that's 400k per volume, not that bad uh? But surely latest 3/4 volumes has less sales than previous ones, so the previous volumes sales has to be 420/440k, well add at least 50/60k of digital and we are at 470K/500K per volume. It does not seem so low now, right?

Simply people are confronted with other manga coevi such as Hero, Nevelrand etc. all manga that unlike BC sold so much even before the anime.

200k are not few, 10k are, then nowadays all the manga sell less on paper, just think the considerable clap of One Piece that an hour in a month reaches 2 million when a few years ago safely surpassed the 3 or HxH whose last volume in a month did not exceed one million.

Then yes, now comes the classic brainiac that will gloat over the fact that digital sales are not known and bla bla bla ....

I get out of it.

>One Piece dropped 1.3kk since 2015

This is some Sharkbait level analysis.

2015 top sales by volume: https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2015-11-29/top-selling-manga-in-japan-by-volume-2015/.95915

2017 top sales by volume: https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2017-12-06/top-selling-manga-in-japan-by-volume-2017/.124895

There was a ~450k drop in sales for the highest selling volume from 2015 to 2017.

You can't even properly use data to support your claims.

But in fact it is not what is being repeated from a few pages, or that paper sales are falling? I do not understand this reticence in wanting to admit it ...

just some minor corrections

using book rank numbe
rs
Vol 76 (~12 months)- Vol 88 (~ 9 month)
3,185,018 - 2,486,122 = 698,896

a bit fairer would be
Vol 77 (~ 8 months) - Vol 88 (~ 9 month)
3,020,137 - 2,486,122 = 534,015

Oricon total would be tomorrow but last time oricon for Vol. 88 was 2,330,206 (june 10th) so you can add 150k to that for now.

carry on

Annual Oricon numbers will be out tomorrow (Japan time).
can't wait.
