Yeah...No. It's baffling few think same Zoro who got dropped by Hawkins, Kyoshiro, Gyukimaro (NW Creature), and Kamazou (Nerf Pleasure) will now go beyond from his hype tool status to beating an Yonko himself and ignoring long build hype Oda has put for Luffy vs Kaido for years over a sword and training with it that he hasn't mastered.
Oda have made Luffy want Kaido's 'head'. He has Adv. COA to be able to damage for it and argue with Kidd who will beat Kaido in a fight. Oda wouldn't push this much if someone else will beat Kaido instead. Make zero sense to do swerve like that especially no implications or talks of even Zoro wanting Kaido. All he been talking about is to get Orochi for himself after Yasu's death. Context shows especially his fights he been fighting more Orochi's men than Kaido's men with Kyoshiro and forced Kamazou. Context and writing all build up to him being one to face Orochi overall. If he needs to cut another 'Dragon' then Orochi could be the one since real life an Orochi are called Dragon at times and knowing Oda he use that to push Orochi on that. There is also YCs being Queen or King who DFs are model 'Dragons' so lee way he could face one of them in a fight.
Though do you all think the same man who fainted from one stab by nerf pleasure will now is able to have mutiple fights going through Orochi, Kyoshiro (If he doesn't betrayed and not a spy), Queen or King, and finally beat Kaido in all-out fight? Do anyone see how crazy this sounds? You expect fainting man to power through this and beat the top tiers himself like no problem? Oda is not perfect writer as no one is, but is still have top quality writing among many.
He is very consistent on power-scaling and would not have a character who is under Luffy and never beaten any credible foes to go beyond and be Gary Sue to beat everyone like that. Luffy had trouble facing 2 YCs in WCI and yet Zoro can do more than him and overall? That sounds dumb fanboyism by 'certain users' who would think like that and not Oda's way of writing a character. To say won't be affected by one fight to continue to do all this is illogical to push out.
Oda putting Zoro in logical conclusion and his best will be beating Orochi and maybe Kyoshiro. Though no way he be good to go to facing top tier like Queen or King and then be fine enough to face Kaido in a fight. That is just headcannons of some type of parody show, not what Oda will write about if he making Zoro taking heavy Ls in his past 4 Wano fights to the point he faints.
The excuse of 'Enma' doesn't boost his stats especially Haki gets drain by every use from it and thus make his durability and stamina even worse from it. No way he going in without heavy fighting and heavy injured. He also not gonna cut Kaido just because having it and surpassed Oden when it took 2 blades, not just Enma to scarred him. By that logic Momo will cut him down for having the Ame. Why not hype him then? Plus neither are going to surpassed a man who was former Roger and Whitebeard Pirate member respectively, could clash WB to extend, COC user, who is regarded even by top tiers on his power, and so on. Zoro isn't being above Prime Oden in one arc like that. That be too out there and no sense. Strawhats will eventually surpassed the Roger and Whitebeard Pirates, but not in one arc. Luffy might have better chance surpassing Oden after beat Kaido, but won't be Roger's lvl and PK lvl after the arc either.
In conclusion, the answer is No. Oda's writing and context said only Luffy to be one for Kaido and if he does need someone to fight with him, Kidd and Law are the best choice given Oda explicit state they will fight Kaido too. Zoro won't be the one to beat/kill him, let alone able to scarred him and give major damage. He won't fight him at all and would get trounced easily the moment Kaido sees him. Too much nonsense to be believable after how Zoro been hype tool this arc.
Not being mean or anything, but this is baffling to think Luffy won't be the one to beat Kaido, but his subordinate does his fight for him? Yeah last time I check thus was about a series of Luffy to be Pirate King in the end. He won't get anywhere if he doesn't face them head-on to prove himself worthy for being Pirate King. Enough said.
