Summary and Preview
There is a mysterious man who appears to be a Buddhist monk, but he really follows a path outside of the Buddha's teachings. He wanders modern Japan, and helps those who ask. He gives more help than they expect, because he can see the past lives of people living now-- he can identify bad souls, and sentence them to death. Through the removal of the bad, he can change the fate of others for the better. The story begins with an adolescent girl seeking help for her mother, who is living with a man that horribly abuses both her and her daughter. [tethysdust]
