Summary and Preview
Set in the last years of the Keio era (1867-1868), this tells the tale of the remainder of the Shinsengumi after the restoration of the Imperial government. It tells of the final years of Nomura Risaburou, Souma Kazue and Hijikata Toshizou as they fight in the Boshin War, attempt to hold the band of the Shinsengumi together, and try to find what their place is in this rapidly changing world.
