Summary and Preview

Rockwell, the heir to a destitute noble family, longs to be a great knight like his deceased father. His mother has raised him to highly value the way of a true knight, despite the recent decline of most of the knighthood into selfishness and immorality. In the village market one day, Rockwell finds the courage to stand against injustice, even though he is unarmed and weak. Through this action, he comes to the attention of the wandering knight Sir Helmut, who takes Rockwell on as a knight-in-training.

Over the years, as Rockwell grows into a true, strong, and chivalrous knight, he realizes that there are many things Sir Helmut has kept hidden from him. On one fateful visit to a town beset by a fierce dragon, Rockwell will discover truth, tragedy, and new allies in a group of skilled and noble fighters called the Scarlet Moon Knights. Many adventures await Rockwell as he tries his best to hold true to the way of the knight!
