I still have a few things here and there to clean up if I feel like it. Interludes, rank ups, story free quest cleanup.

The Lostbelt was ultimately pretty good, IMO.

The Gordorf stuff drove me up a wall. But Scathach, Napoleon, Ophelia, Sigurd, and Brynhilde were all good. The ultimate conclusion worked for me to a degree. It's probably not a top 5 singularity for me but it's not too far down there. I absolutely hated the last one. So I'm glad this felt like a better story to me.

Overall, the only bit I'm struggling with in the grand overarching story is the all the Wodime hype. He is such a trope-y bishonen villain. All the genius stuff. All knowing attitude. Sure, Beo and Billy were underused as fuck, but danm the conclusion was epic.

This one I felt that Scatach took away from the awesome nordic mythology, I dislike illia and thus sitonai (danm annoying voice, design with colors I don´t like, and a last ascension that is just as criminal as wu zeitan´s). Bryhild design is also bad for me but I did enjoy the fleshing of her character, and Sigurd was...ok? Kinda of non factor for me, while I do enjoy his design a lot.

And napoleon...oh boi
Do I enjoy his design and his lore? Yes
Do I think his animations suck for a 5 star? Yes
And danm..I felt like his character was a horny iskandar.
He felt pretty meh to me, but I do enjoy him.

And I disliked ophelia, i felt she was weak because she doesn´t really know what to do, while Kadoc was weak because he lacked the inner strenght to do it and blamed it on the world.
And even Surtr had the hots for her, goddam...she really felt like a OC to me

-Has hot guys that like her? Check
-Has a sort of romantic tragedy with a pretty boy? Yes
-Has strong ass powers? Yes
-Is actually on the side of good (ish)? Yes
-Dies tragically and heroically(ish) so we feel bad and redeem her actions? Yes

I disagree about Ophelia I really enjoyed her character and the decisions she made. Her main weakness was the whole fangirl side but even that I felt like was at least somewhat explained. I wanted to know why she was doing things and what she'd do next.

He was a constant ray of sunshine in a similar way that Musashi was in her short time in the last arc. The reveal of his true nature and how he was linked to Ophelia I thought was pretty clever actually. Being less historical and more thematic.

I have no problem with the compound goddesses. Skadi and Sitoni i thought were both pretty neat. Though I enjoyed Skadi more because she seemed more godlike. And I thought she worked really well as sort of the character making "the rules" for the arc. It sort of kept the mystery of whose side she was really on until the end. When you see she never really had a side and was just caring for those she could in her own way.

I would roll for Moedred + Any God. That's all I'll say.

The thing about Norse mythology is that everybody knows it at least somewhat well. So I feel like that's the place to put a nice twist in there.

Yeah, I actually liked this Lostbelt quite a bit too. It's true that the story could be trimmed down, like usual, but outside of minor complaints there isn't much.

What helped a lot is that almost all characters were interesting. The only exceptions are Goredolf (though he's getting better at least...) and Koyanskaya, who continues to a bit too much of a "I can read all of you like an open book, and you're all trash" bitch. Which isn't bad per se, but they're sorta overdoing it for me.

As for the Lostbelt itself

Good twist with Surtr, in my eyes. They could've fleshed him out a little more, but I think his motivation made sense (to break free from his fate) and I liked his connection with Ophelia. Sorta like two beaten souls who were "controlled" by others, now lashing out at the world. Didn't mind that Ophelia realized her mistake and tried to make up for it. It didn't turn her into a saint or something, and she made it clear that she still stands with the Crypters.

Napoleon worked for me, pretty much agree with Jammin. He was a fun guy
Also agreed about Skadi, "villains" like her who aren't exactly evil but just have an entirely different moral compass always are a plus in my eyes.

And I liked how Mash and the protag have come to terms with the fact that they're basically killing other humans to save their own world, and show the conviction to see it through until the end.

To sum it up, I would rate it pretty highly. Not quite Camelot or Babylonia, but probably above the majority of most Singularities and certainly a lot better than the Russian Lostbelt.

Final Nonmeme thoughts
The first lost belt seemed very much devoted to strength and survival of the fittest especially in the embodiment of the servants summoned. It was even present in the rivalry of the two composers. In this lost belt, the theme is a devotion to concepts of love - friendship of Mash and Ophelia, Romance of Sigurd and Napoleon with respective Waifus. Queen Ice and her agape love. Even the Valkyries with their bonds. The second half was much better then the first half of the story.

The lostbelts are not as fun for me because there are less heroic spirits we are bonding and more development into the tragedy of the crypters. Plus it has less of a feel of adventure as the singularity were and lacks the dark mystery of the remnant arcs. I think I like the Russian story better overall but this one had more interesting characters - Napoleon with his antics, Skadi with her unique look on love, and Ophelia with that final monologue brought the enjoyment up for this one. Have to agree that didn’t like the princess vibe Ophelia had rocking where all the knights were wanting to save her or in love with her + the king villain + Mash? (She counts as a knight too, I guess).

Too little Sherlock Holmes... Too little Thrud.

The night has indeed come. Fortunately, the good RNGoddess has not abandoned me. Got Skadi in about 200 SQ along with Charon and dupes of Penthesilea, Helena, d'Eon, and Chiyome. The assassin I got turned out to be Semiramis so I'm pretty happy about that too.

GSSR: I went with the caster banner to fish for Merlin, Tamamo, Sanzang or Nero, but would've been happy with anyone who wasn't Scherezerade. Ended up getting Da Vinci which is neat.

Skadi rolls: The RNG Goddess was kind to me. 1 Hessian Lobo, 1 Marie Antionette. NP1 Skadi at ~150SQ, NP2 at 210SQ in. My chat in my stream urged me to roll past the NP1 hence the NP2, and to go on after that but for 300SQ odd I'm really happy with that. Best of luck to everyone!

Oh yeah, got Fran, which means only Karna is left for Apocraphya roster, np2 circe who is waifu, and maxed out salieri on the extra banner

Overrall I feel like I cant complain,with my 5 ssrs in 40 days (Anastasia>Ivan>Xuanzang>Achilles>Hijikata), 3 oc which i higly desired,but to have come away from 250ish SQ with a dupe SSR and only 1 SR, with not even a CE, it is....nhe.

But, Chokita is a great tan waifu, buster and AoE with np charge, so i cant ask for more

But also keep in mind that other guaranteed Banner had Servants I like way, way more than in the Assassin Banner.)

- 30 Tickets brought me 'only' a golden Assassin Card. I was hoping for a 5* Assassin (except for Osakabehime), so I could try my luck on a guaranteed Banner with Servants I like from the bottom of my heart (for example: Musashi, Artoria Archer, Merlin, Waver, Brynhild...). But no... it was 4* Wu Zetian, ugh. Don't like her...
- 6 Multirolls brought me nothing. No noteworthy CE, no 4*/5* Servant.
- 7th Multiroll got me Penthesilea. I don't like her, so I was pretty much still at 0 from my point of view.
- 8th Multiroll got me Atalante Alter. I don't know anything about this version of hers, but her normal version annoyed the hell out of me in Apocrypha, thus I would have preferred to not get her Alter version at all. At this point, I was asking myself, why I don't get at least a 4* Servant I like? Well, anything but Skadi would be disappointing anyway with over 1.000 Quartz on my account, but you get the gist...
- 9th Multiroll got me a golden Assassin Card. I was again hoping for a 5* Assassin except for Osakabehime... But yeah... it was her. I was really feeling not well at this point. Mission accomplished. I'm happy. But not gonna lie, I wished to get her with less Quartz so I could try my luck get a further NP on her. I really want a 5* Servant I adore to get at least NP2. But that's complaining about first world problems, I know it. She is now level 100 with level 8 on each skill. I only need 25 Aurora Steels to get all her skills to level 10. Also wished to get at least a single good CE from 21 fucking Multirolls...
