• You can pick openings & endings of any anime that you like (series or movie, or Ova) but western animation are not allowed. However tracks in other languages are allowed.
• You can choose any anime opening or ending that was released after January 2020 up to the current season (Spring 2024)
• It is up to you how you define what is a best intro/outro to you. Choose your top 10 anime openings/endings based on your personal criteria — whether it's creativity, visuals, music, or a mix of everything. Your submission can even include tracks from an anime that you've never watched. And whether you like, love or hate the anime or not is irrelevant for your list.
• Honorable mentions are allowed.
• As long as deadline is not reached, you can change your list as much as you want.
• Please, rank your top following the usual format :

1 - 10 pts
2- 9 pts
3- 8pts
4- 7pts
etc.
10- 1pts

really, did i miss it? well of course not there's only one true canon, i said it all along!

Greed is that rare kind of manga/anime character you genuinely sometimes think about, wishing he could have stayed longer in the series because you wanted to see his character develop even further. It’s not like you just miss his presence on the series the moment he goes, you actually mourn him.

Perhaps Greed is just the textbook shōnen character that ticks all my boxes: cool, laidback, intimidating, bold, fiery, but perhaps most important: his personality actually feels more familair and humanoid to me, even though that sounds pretty weird considering he actually really isn’t one. To some extent you can just relate to him. I guess that makes his storyline about suppressed emotions and his longing for friends all the more emotional. Perhaps even more emotional to me than some of the more central storylines.

But besides of all this, Greed is just a beast. Every action sequence he was in was brilliant: from fighting Wrath in his initial body all the way back in episode 13, to his revenge with Wrath, to his second revenge with Wrath but then with Fu on his side. One of the greats, I’m glad my 10-pointer made it to the top 10 at least.

Have you sometimes ever felt that there can be a competition between siblings?


You know, if you have siblings, obviously.


Sometimes there can be argueing or rather said siblings bickering.


But that's all what normal, right?


Even in anime these are quite common.


Regardless, when it comes to that, have you felt like there has been a time..


A time that you consider one of the siblings to be more superior then the other?


Arguing with your friends or whatever, why the one is just simply better then the other?


Yes, even in FMA there can be siblings like these.


However, these siblings are quite arm-strongish, you can rather say.


Quite well build and staying for there justice.


Even they felt sometimes a competition, when it comes to inherit the family propery.


Of course, the father consider Alex to be the next succesor then the other, and Mira simply does not agree.


So.. for that... it can only be settled with a siblings battle, right?


Remeber this moment, perhaps?

I mean exactly that moment. Mira won against Alex, right?


Or was Alex simply holding back because he did not want to hurt his sister?


In the end he did not use his alchemy against her, did he?

Easily my favorite character of the series. Good character and also very entertaining. That character design is also awesome.

Fun fact: Both Erin and Zimb gave, of course, 10 points to their favorite Armstrong. However, Erin gave 8 points to Alex while Zimb gave 2 points to Mira which is also a perfect total of 10 points. XD

Olivier Mira a. is my all time fave female char , to summarize i will just quote @jakensama from this thread cant say better !

Real disappointed Olivier Armstrong didn't make the cut. I mean she is surrounded by super powered humuncoli and alchemists, but she has no fear and is all business. She has no special abilities at all, raw power wise there is nothing that stands out. Super strength, speed, magic abilities, super armor? Nope she needs none of that to stand up to anything in the FMA universe. No pandering to the audience with sexy fanservice, she's not 'cute', 'sassy', or whatever. That's a badass in my eyes.

Will add that she's independant and has no love interest which often makes females characters in nekketsu duller, and i d say Riza would have been way better in she was not living only for "Mr. see Im awesome !" dont get me wrong, not saying Riza is bad on the contrary, i love her too, but Olivier is way better written, imo. Also think about it, she had the guts to protect and promote an ishballan as her right arm while the very country she serves is practicing institutional racism and ethnic cleansing, i mean look at the middle finger she gives to those higher ups ! shes faithfull to her values and doesnt care confronting whoever she needs to, fully deserves my 10pts.
