Abengane: Interesting. I always thought we would see more of him as part of the Spiders, but oh well.
Momoze Hui Gou Rou: I have the impression that in anime She will definitely be more popular. Anyway, I hate her (?
Shizuku Murasaki: She's ok, but I won't miss her. I find her as shallow as her ability.
Cheadle Yorkshire: I enjoyed how utterly destroyed by Pariston she was. And how naive she is. I can't wait for her to be REALLY useful in DC.
Hellbell: WHY WOULD ANYONE VOTE FOR THIS
Menthuthuyoupi Of all ants, this was the most interesting for me as He was the most inhuman of all. And so, the most fascinating to read for me.
Silva Zoldyck Who doesn't like silver daddies?
Canary By far my favorite Zoldyck servant. First, I think we need more badass black characters. Second, I think we need more female badass characters. Third, I like how She even being all that, still has more depth than just being cool. I really hope that we see more about her soon. And I have the gut feeling we will as soon as DC ends (This is in the next 10 years lol)
Kon: HOW KON IS MORE POPULAR THAN SILVA OR PHINKS
Phinks Magcub He's so hot :C Also, cool guy. I believe He's a good fit to be the next leader of the troupe.
Uvogin: He gave us the best battle of that arc. And He was interesting and terrifying for sure, a cool character indeed.
Tserriednich Hui Gou Rou I really LOVE good villains. And I feel He's the best that Togashi created, reminding me a lot of Level E and Monster. There is something about him that is just so well written, a perfect fit to be the antagonist even between the monsters that are all the princes. He represents the charisma of the truly evil people, which disgust but also can't help to understand why people fell in line with their words.
Theta I love that She ended in the same spot because I believe that She will kill Tserriendich and herself, sharing the same fate. A really good character!! And I hope her ability is also cool. Can't wait to see her animated.
Knov He's so cool. I really like his ability, and I think that watching all his breakdown made me love him even more.
Hanzo I kinda liked her until I saw his ability. It's fitting for a ninja, yes, but damn that's so boring. I won't be sad if he gets killed.
Shalnark A cool design. I tend to dislike coercive-type manipulators but Shalnark had his Goku thingie which made me not totally bored with him. I like how Togashi also used him to express how technology can dominate you. As that idea grew old, him being death made sense in terms of the evolution of the narrative.
Nobunaga Hamaza He was severely underperforming as a spider, I really hope the Prince Election arc can give him an opportunity to shine a bit more. He needs it, as He's charismatic but He feels old in the modern narrative of HxH.
Palm Siberia I really enjoy her design AFTER being an ant. I like big jewels. Also, she cool. And her reincarnation was truly a do-over of his personality, being able to show how She matured through all of that. One of the most rounded developments for me.
Shaiapouf I hate him. But I like to hate him. I hate his technique, I hated how he treated Komugi.
Ikalgo Such a nice person. <3
Alluka Zoldyck Granted, I only like her because She's trans. But besides that, she's so pure! It's heartwarming.
Gin Freecss I saw the discussion about him being a bad parent or not. He was a bad parent. Not everyone should be a parent. BUT I don't think He's a shitty person. In the end, He left because He knew He wasn't a parent, and Mito will always be better. I can respect that. Also, hyped to know his ability. I feel like Pariston XD
Senritsu/Melody I really enjoy her as a character. I said we need more female characters, but we also need that they are diverse. She embodies that (quite literally) with really solid writing. Her interactions with Kacho were so glorious.
Zeno Zoldyck If you look for badass in the dictionary you can find his face.
Kite Just for the record, I only like him after the resurrection as an ant.
Machi Komacine For the spiders having someone that has threads as her technique is so fitting. I think there is something else about her that we don't know yet. Also, her intuition is frightening.
Feitan Portor He's so edgy. BUT it works really well with him, and with pain. There is something subtle about his personality that is enjoyable to see.
Knuckle Bine Good and obnoxious. He's definitely a twist, a clear reference to Kazuma from Yu Yu Hakusho but with a better analysis of his persona. A technique that is gentle, that reflects how far He can go in order to always give others a chance.
Pakunoda MVP. Still, gg.
Illumi Zoldyck I hate him. A lot. And I don't even enjoy reading him. Plz, die, thanks.
Neferpitou What I like the most about him is how balanced he is, both in his demeanor and his technique.
Morel Mackernasay One of my favorite characters as well. He was my 11th place. As I said, I hated manipulators until he. I hope the next arc features him in all his glory (From the new continent to the gate)

Some, if not all the Zodiacs will have to use their abilities before they arrive to the DC considering the chaos that is going to occur later. Plus there is the plan to deal with Saiyu. Once the banquet starts the death count will rise even more.

I disagree, I actually think Zodiacs won't show their abilities until we reach DC. Not all of them, for the most part. All this arc will be Mafia+Spiders (With the Zoldycks) +Princes showdown...And it's plenty already. Ging vs Pariston + Zodiacs will definitely be part of the next arc.

From chap. 349 to chap. 368:

Prince Momoze had 5 speech boxes, all in ch.361.
She is visually featured in only a few panels.
But yet we know sooooo much about her.

Chrollo's mindset.
Momoze's mindset. (ch. 361, so beware)

I think that if Melody had the chance to talk to Momoze, her reaction to the prince's heartbeat would be something similar to Chrollo's.

She is brutally honest to herself, and i'd imagine in a position of power as king, she'd be to her subjects as well.

Give her your free time and her true colors will show. Even the 4th prince's Nen Beast doesn't "kill", but Momoze's does, and of course follows the prince's subconscious desire to be king, even if the Momoze herself don't feel like she can become king.

She's interesting for sure, but honestly, She peaked. There is nothing more to her.

He's just a cool minor character with a design I appreciate and a surprisingly major influence on the story. Plus, I like Conjuring in the series and I like his ability.

I also have a bias towards Conjurers

m of this arc is that there are way too many (new) characters involved, so a lot of them end up with not much or no screentime at all. That's always the problem with a huge cast like that, and while I think Togashi is putting his own unique (interesting) spin on it, the hiatuses just hurt even more with this one

At the same time, it's what makes HxH world feel "real". There is always a lot of people, all of them interesting in some fashion.

Momoze considered herself part of the war, but was only quietly waiting for her eventual fate, death. Salé-Salé didn't take the war seriously and suffered the consequences, I'm certain he wasn't prepared for what happen

Did she? I thought that she was confident actually and that it was the reason why she wasn't scared. But she lacked intel. Sale-Sale was just an idiot.

In a way, Sale-Sale is interesting because it's the view that everyone has about the monarchy. All of these princes are Togashi's reflection on leadership. Momoze was just passivity, Sale-Sale was at least more interesting in that regard.

More about his character than his ability. I'm surprised he didn't get a couple more votes.

And when both Benjamin and Balsamilco are so worried about his ability, he's definitely not overestimated.

They may be worried, still, his ability is kinda shitty. How this beast helps him really to achieve being a king (Even if He doesn't want to win at first)I just don't see it. This ability reflects his character, He wants to be someone else and relies on others way too much. Underneath all, He is just insecure and not accepting of himself.

Phinks is what I imagine to be a love-child of @Evil3ye and me.

This thread is so much more fun than I thought. I was surprised to saw Momoze ranked, even higher than Oito as she is one of my favorite design and personality wise. Graceful, kind, tho sadly lonely. Togashi is so cruel. I'm glad Theta tie with Tserr she really deserved it. I though Bill will be higher too. Can't wait to see where Melody stand.

Oito is my fave as well. And I think she didn't peak still, that's the reason why I thought she would be higher in the list.

Theta is such an awesome char., she has really some guts to confront M. Psycho, this girl is one of the best character introduced this arc, if not the best. Again the 1st time she was introduced she looked like the cold guard, i was like "im sure shes as "evil as tserrid", but i was so wrong, oh really wrong, she knew who she has to deal with from the start and is trying to get rid of him all by herself. I love her personality, her determination, her kindness, she deserves to be my 9pointers (please toga, be nice with her )

Up to debate. It's a spatial ability. Normally it should ignore durability I think. But will we ever know with Knov in this state? As we see more spatial abilities maybe we'll know.

I honestly doubt that Knov technique could cut one of the guards or the generals even.

Imagine if Pouf was in the current arc helping Tserriednich for example. His abilities are really underrated.
