The chapter is basically Maki beating up the entire Zenin clan, Jinichi appears but kills him quickly.

The next chapter is against Naoya.

- This week chapter LCP (Lead Color Page) is Maki & Mai running at the seashore and holding hands together.
- The turmoil in the Zenin clan is still on
- Jinchi Zenin tries to stop Maki but dies
- Maki does an Instant Kill Move
- At the end of the chapter, Maki is facing off Naoya

What did you expect lol? She's comparable to Toji now and she even oneshotted Ougi last chapter. Naoya may put up a fight though.

It makes sense. I just wanted Jinichi to actually do something in the series. Ougi was just trash (as a character & a sorcerer) so I didn't really care, but I thought Jinichi would be a little more interesting. Cause now I'm just wondering why Jinichi is even here. At least Ougi & Naoya contribute to Maki's backstory, Jinichi didn't provide anything.

I think his Cursed Technique will be a deciding factor in the fight, since is allowed his father to dominate a special grade spirit outside its domain expansion.

I also think he will be spared and have a small character redemption arc.

I also think he will be spared and have a small character redemption arc.

Maybe that's what made Toji so dangerous, he knew how to kill a sorcerer (using normal weapons for example) and Maki must know this technique of Naoya well since she only saw it in the first hand in the Shibuya incident, so he may not even take chances, not to mention that we still don't know the skill of her new weapon.

thats quite sad really, there goes another society and so mych for Makei to rule over them. But scum that does not care if they are scum desereves sweet karma. In the end them movking a Heavynly Restriction is what caused this. Strange though that Toji never went thsi beast mode, or maybe he jsut did not care and wanted to spite them elsewhere. Granted Maki went through something that really made her snap.
Now I am just curious to see if there is even one good seed in the Zeni clan. And what about the others?

You know someone means business once they start to refer to themselves as we. Is Maki the most badass female character in shounen history? I've yet to see a female character get his much agency and oppurtunity to just go wild. She's single handedly going to massacre an entire clan.
