I think so. But I guess I was thinking of how Spring was so chockfull of games but that no longer being the case. Doom just added to that but now not so much.

Same, but like a true dumbass I don't even scratch the surface of a lot of games I already own.

Even if one was unironically interested in Maneater, which I am. It's an EGS exclusive so I doubt I'll be playing it this year.

Shark RPG 'Maneater' Launching on Epic Games' Store in 2019

Maneater is a singleplayer action-RPG where you can take control of shark that wants to chomp on people and it's launching on Epic Games' recently announced online store for the PC in 2019.

Yeah, the release date is May 22, 2020 (supposedly...) . So even if it's not delayed either it'll be quite the wait to play it elsewhere.

At least the devs at Blindside basically admitted they did it for the money, and didn't bother with PR bullshit. A bit more palatable than lies.

Not sure I'm getting it. At least, not right away. Not that it's the be-all-end-all, but the game has a lower userscore on Metacritic then fucking Fallout76 or Anthem... Blizzard has been an absolute clusterfuck for the past year and I've seen a ton of negative things about WC3's launch. A lot of laziness with this version, especially cutscenes not being of the same quality that was shown at Blizzcon. A lot of custom game stuff broken apparently. Seems like they invested the least amount of resources possible to get this project done, had to delay it (shocking), despite it being an absolute slamdunk success if they actually bothered with the effort. They were reportedly fixing bugs based off of reddit posts, users were getting banned off the official forums for showing people how to refund it, etc.

But hey, maybe it's all propaganda and the game is fantastic. Just not sure I want to give Activision-Blizzard more of my money if something they made has this many apparent warts. Even though the original was an all-time classic.

Welp, decided to play the witcher 2 iorveth's path... I am glad I did, the path is more fun than roche's path. Kinda sad that I didn't get a chance to kill henselt though. Also, I am taking every chance to make triss' life miserable. She deserves it.

Well, kind of looks like a mod for DOS2? That's not necessarily a bad thing, but I can see it maybe having a mixed response. For some reason I wasn't really expecting the combat to be turn-based either, which kind of turns me off somewhat. Also Early Access... I know that's nothing new for Larian but still kind of disappointing given the IP.
