When I said I wanted baam to get the black march back, I didnt mean so he could keep it. I was thinking he might borrow it again for a test. I just want to know how powerful it is in baams hands now that he gotten stronger.

But isn't the Thorn better for him? It gets stronger along with him and it fits his style better I think.

From the wiki. Not sure who, but someone or someones have pointed out the 13mo match up to the original 13 companions.

Some matches seem clearer than others. If going purely on the 'colors' - best guesses:

- Golden November - Zahard; shinsoo/eye color
- Blue August - Eduan; shinsoo/blue themes
- Red October - Ha Yurin; red all the things
- White February - Arie Hon; white all the things
- Indigo July - V; shinsoo color/name? (Viole....t?)
- Luminous June - Tperie; light-bearers. Secondary is Yeon Hana for flames being luminous?
- Green April - Lo Po Bia FH; green for nature, green in appearance... why not?
- Colorless December - Gustang; 'Aloof Wave' is very bland and... colorless?
- Dark September - Arlen; spell-caster/witch, Luslec may be related 'absolute darkness'...?
- Silver January - Ari Han; most-notable in this family to date, Sharon, has silver accents (idk)...? Maybe Gustang for some reason I can't explain.
- Black March - Hendo; black for a quick death and black for shinsoo resistance?? Could see a V or Arlen though...
- Yellow May - Yeon Hana; yellow for flames?? Secondary is Zahard if shinsoo is yellow, not gold?
- Rainbow Undecimber - Eurasia Blossom; rainbow shinsoo blasts? (like Laure does). Secondary is Tperie; 'eyes' can see all spectrum colors?


As you can see these are mostly complete shots in the dark, and this thread is kind of stupid. So respond with your own thoughts! lol






On another note, I have no idea how Baam will supposedly get all of these 13mos. Assume Yuri and Garam just hand theirs over. Sept is MIA, Dec is sealed. Undecimber is probably still in Zahard's hands. May is owned by the maniacal Maschenny, top 100. Oct is held by a HR - 36 or so. Adori holds Nov and is one of the tower's most powerful entities.

These weapons are on all sorts of different floors, held by extremely powerful beings or simply MIA/sealed. Zahard himself could hold one. Almost every holder is antagonistic towards Baam and/or loyal to Z, seemingly, or a complete unknown.

I don't see this being completed in an arc or two. This series will go on forever.




Lastly, I kind of hope Undecimber, an inventory, is like a multi-armed Shiva/Durga/Kali/Vishnu/Ganesha type of entity that can hold each of the other 12. Hachuling, who has the coolest arms inventory to date, has shown that the inventory itself can be kind of humanized/demonized.

Yellow May- Tu Perie: Yellow is light but an artificial one, such as a Lighthouse.

Luminous June- Ari Han: all light colors theme

Indigo July- Yeon Hana: fire is indigo/purple in this family (red on Blitz family)

Blue August- Koon Edwan: Blue themed

Dark September- Hendo Lok Bloodmadder: defender is likely earth themed

Red October- Ha Yurin: Red themed

Golden november- Jahad

Colorless December- Gustang: invisible Shinsoo

Rainbow Unidecember- Arlene Grace: spells come in all colors

Lol, I always thought of these things for too. Ari Han comes from Ari Bright Sharon color pallette: many different Chroma, but all light colors. Even her hair. And her name. I figured Ari is light and Arie is white, as If Arie was a more extreme version of Ari.

Quick remarks: if we assume these weapons were initially-presented as good-faith gifts, it'd seem Arie should've gotten one of swords, right? I think the Luminous June and Red October are listed as the only swords in the set, so on this theory Arie should've been gifted one of those.

This goes against the color-theming, but I'm not sure I'd expect the color-theming to be the determining factor on these, anyway.

For "how will Baam collect them all?", I agree it's too many to go one-by-one (years of fetch quests? please, no). I think in the end they'll come to Baam, rather than vice-versa.

One possibility: the weapons can sense when they're near each other, Baam currently has one inside him, the second thorn has spatial-manipulation abilities (and Androssi is a walking teleport/warp portal/etc., if necessary). Wouldn't take much to either have Baam develop long-range 13 month radar or even start radiating a 13 month-attracting field.

Another possibility: facts of the weapon's curse become widely known, Baam's spell-lifting ability becomes widely-known (and perhaps develops further), so princesses with weapons start seeking him out of their own accord. Might not get all of them this way, but could be a route for him to pick up more allies (who'll eventually give him their weapons, even if not right away).

As I mentioned, someone is to blame for making me think like this - could have been you. I couldn't find a thread on it looking a couple pages back, not all 7 or 8. It may have been discussed in the chapter discussions?

I think the 13 months are god killers. All spells have conditions associated with them, as in: there cannot be a Lock without a Key. And the way the 13GW got their imortality is locking their lives with items as keys: the 13 months. Just like Yuri was able to kill even the imortals at FoD using them, I think all of the 13 months are weapons designed to kill their corresponding 13GW, not for them to wield. Actually, I think having them near would bear the risk of undoing the spell. So instead its Just an item endowed with their Shinsoo and created through the sacrifice of someone. V refused It and killed himself, maybe he did so using the Black March.

I think the owners of 13 months can kill imortals, including 10 FHs, that should be the reason some regulars can stand above FHs in rank. But each FH can only be killed using the right weapon, Megaman style, and for Arlene to die It would require the Rainbow Unidecember that Jahad won't forfeit. Therefore, Bam needs to get the Rainbow Unidecember by defeating Jahad.

On this point we could discuss that there are more than on spell on them. There are the ghost of the 13 months spell, thats activated when someone tries to ignite more than one... but there's also some other spell, strong enough to override Gustang's spell on the floor of death and kill it residents.

Are there more than one spell or the ghost of the 13 month spell does more than drive the princess crazy for time?
