I mean, I'm more concerned about the local elections here in my state because they'll directly effect me first. Whatever Biden and Harries decided to try to get passed with Congress is on all of them at this point. For me, in the next 4 years, you can't blame Trump, Obama or Bush Jr for past decisions. Now it's "solutions only" time and they need to be effective for the country first.

No democrats cared about "tax relief" or "made in america" until Donald Trump ran on those campaign promises in 2016.

Democrats are creating vastly inferior policies of "tax relief" and "made in america" in contrast to what Donald Trump brought to the table.

A basic comprehension of finance and economics tells us large stimulus packages and programs like green new deal are funded by massive and exorbitant tax hikes.

Just as obamacare was funded by 20 tax hikes which doubled or tripled the cost of healthcare for many americans.

Looking at the results, it is incredible to some extent that trump actually made headway with minorities. Democrats REALLY have a messaging problem... And of course a policy problem (mainly a lack of it). Their only advantage this election was really that they weren't trump... Also, the slongan "defund the police" needs to be placed six feet under. Setting aside that it is an intrinsically bad message, democrats do not have the fight or messaging capacity to convey any amount of nuance it might have (also on the activist and political level there is a lack of specific proposals).

And what exactly do you base that on? I don't think any terrorists feared Trump. The people who brought down Al Kaida were Bush and Obama (whether one agrees with the methods is another question), Trump era saw a rise in international terrorism because americans lost influence left and right.

I am actually a bit worried still. Since I can remember, no American government is actually much liked for their foreign policy here and Obama's actually costed him his reputation here.

When he first got elected, people were wearing Obama t-shirts even here in Germany, compelled by his promises of change and because Bush was heavily disliked here for, well his foreign policy, mainly the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

But when Obama's second term ended he was only still liked here for what Biden is liked now, because he is not Donald Trump.
The Civil Wars in Ukraine and especially Syria and spying on our Chancellor essentially put an end to our optimism regarding America even long before Trump got elected.

The general consensus here about Biden regarding questions like economic relationships with the EU or the future foreign policy of the US in the Middle East is that it is "very likely getting better because Biden is not Trump". That leaves a lot of question marks.
