It's not illogical to think that it's true. Clinton's support was sort of built-in, Bernie's support came from the ground up.

Yep, Bernie's support is genuine because his supporters truly think he's a great guy who backs up what he says.

What... I'd say any person who supports a candidate is genuine. It's not about the support being genuine or not, it's the fact that the DNC already had the red carpet out for Clinton before the race even started. She was going to be the favorite either way. But if a state has more new voters than usual it's probably because people are voting for Sanders.

Well, the only thing negative thing that could be said about bernie supporters and even then it would be debatable are the abut the issues surrounding the trump rallies. Although to be honest rather than trump or bernie supporters I would place blame only on trump who openly encouraged the violence. I mean, it's groups of angry people, placing blame on either or both does not really accomplish anything nor necessarily says much about the candidates. Every demagogue in history has tried to make their opponents appear as the violent ones... Trump is no different from a generic south american dictator that way, it takes 5 minutes on youtube to see every south american leader of the past decade doing the exact same thing and by extension missing the point of the protest.

not sure how genuine they are, or whether they are fully aware of the candidate. Lot of Hillary supporters support her because feminism and civil rights, but when has she proven she is a solid champion for the causes? Would the motion to ban Muslims from entering really be passed regardless of what Trump says? And if he cancels the rally over little protest, then how can he handle America's enemies?

Clearly Trump's fault, regardless of what his supporters say. He encourages violence, he's gonna get met with violence. How many other republican rallies have had a protest of this nature? If he wasn't endorsin violence, and his supporters weren't violent, I doubt the kind of protest in Chicago would happen. If anything, this should encourage more people to vote lest they get Trump in office. As loath as I am to say this, I'd rather have Hillary over Trump.

You're confusing someone being genuine with being ignorant. There are many ignorant people who are absolutely genuine.

Quite frankly I don't think "being genuine" in this context even means anything. How would being genuine in this context be defined and if defined what would be the relevance of this to the election? My honest impression about this is that it is a complain that sanders isn't getting the support he needs to get the nomination.

Well, Milly is the one who said Bernie's support is "more genuine". It's silly to suggest that anyone would vote for someone without feeling genuine about them.

I think it's more appropriate to say that maybe Sander's support is more independent and free thinking, simply because Hillary is an establishment candidate and would support the status quo more than anything.

Isn't that more or less my point?

Why do you loathe clinton so much? I know she has been involved in a couple controversies but my actual impression is that she is just about as presidential as a candidate can get. At least she doesn't seem to be worst than past democratic candidates... I know about the emails but unless I missed the whole thing was greatly exaggerated and she never did anything illegal. And looking a bit back she took criticism for the Benghazi thing but as far as I could read there was never anything tangible to accuse her off. I am by no means suggesting she is a saint, I assume almost anyone who is willing to run for president of a country is an asshole at some level, but she doesn't seem bad compared to current or past democrat candidates.

Hilary Clinton is the worst of the worst, she is an evil human, down to her core. She is a war criminal and people like her are responsible for what is happening/has happened in the Middle east, North Africa and Europe right now.

For my entire life, I realized that the situation in Europe and its neighbors is getting worse and worse, and I have pretty good memories. When I was in kindergarten, my best friend whose father was from Iraq (living there) told me that there is war there. And there is still war there today...

The refugee crisis gave rise to many radical right wing parties that are destroying our (already broken) democracies, just like the Americans try to end our democracy using TTIP.
The entire mess here in Europe is only because the Americans can't get their hands off other countries.
Or could it be that this is all part of a grand scheme? Looting all the ressources that remain on this world? Getting their armies as close to their rivals (Russia, Iran, China) as possible? Destabilizing and spying on Europe so that it can never become a power on its own? Unfortunately, most American voters don't care about the rest of the world or only care in the way that media tells them to.
That's why I loathe Hilary Clinton, though to be fair, I would probably loathe most other candidates if I knew more about them. They are all just figureheads anyways, working for almost the same evil people in the shadows.

It's not, just an observation of how Bernie got momentum and became popular, though not popular enough thanks to democrats and media.

Because she just seems slimy and fishy, among other stuff. Not just the Benghazi thing, and it's annoying republicans have to bring that up all the time as if they've never lied or done anything fishy.

He is not popular because of democrats...? That sounds a tad off lol. I mean, it is them that are not voting for him after all. How does that work as an excuse?

Slimy and fishy among other stuff? Is she dirty and stinky as well? This seems awfully vague.

That's sort of bogus honestly. Regardless of the cause of the crisis, your own policy regarding the issue isn't without blame.

Not really, given democrats and the media have focused on Hillary more. I'm talkin about the politicians, not the voters.

Boo to Hillary, she's almost as bad as a republican politician.

@M3J she (hillary) is shitty since she's contradicted herself a lot (to be fair tho all politicians do) but she isn't really the worst the Democrats have to offer tbh not by a long shot and I'm certain that with all the ass kissing she's done, she'll have to stay true to what she tells her voters if she wins.

@xi0, kkck I think m3j means that unlike "most" voters, people actually try to look at bernie and what he has to offer if he becomes president but m3j is kinda being a bit too judgemental here. I sincerely doubt that that many people truly even listen what their favored candidate has to say. No doubt some moronic people would vote for sanders just on the what they think he means or says (xi0, remember Bernie's words about how supposedly whites don't know what it is like to be poor? Obviously this isn't true and no way he believes this since he himself has suffered poverty not to mention that tho he would like hispanic and black support, I doubt he'd drop so low as to suck their D*ck to get them) They take what he said and twisted it to their way of thinking (the bad side of tumblr; the tumblrites) no doubt loved that wording. Note that I don't think all of tumblr is bad. Not even 1/100th of them or that feminists are bad either but their other, louder side is quite poisonous. And they just vote on the shit they like to imagine or purely for the circle jerking that goes on in their group. So I'm certain m3j meant that by "genuine" bernie appears to have people who actually look at him and what he says instead of blind voters. I disagree tho, if we look at most of the past presidents then I don't think most people really pay the attention required to see when they are being stiffed. Imo.

For example: m3j's beef with hillary.

One of her statements (hillary) was something to the effect of: "No we will not take in their children, they need to understand that simply having your child be born here will not guarantee they can stay here" regarding immigrants. Don't quote me but it was basically the same thing. Yet many of the people voting democrats (who support immigrants and their plight) don't even remember/care or even heard this (which wouldn't even be that hard to find if they did their research on their favorite candidate) so it shows how little effort they put in to their researching and thus aren't "genuine" supporters. M3j if I'm wrong the I'm sorry for putting words in your mouth but that's the only explanation my pea sized brain could come up with xD. And if I am wrong then... I'd have to agree with kkck and xi0. How else would this make the other supporters be any less "genuine"? Unless they are being forced to vote for someone they don't actually support which also could be a way of saying they aren't genuine but uh... that wouldn't make sense

Hillary seems to have been against South American kids immigrating here few years ago, but she supports Syrian refugee kids immigrating to the US. I haven't seen her supporters point that out. Plus, I find it ingenuine that a lot of people say "vote Hillary for feminism!" Cool and all, but is she really qualified to be a president, and would she really be a major step forward for feminism? stuff like that, but even I'm not sure totally sure what I mean.

I'm not 100% sure if all Bernie supporters genuinely support him or part of his supporters are due to what others say. I don't know if the protesters were violent at Drumpf's rally in Chicago (which I don't know if I wouldn't endorse), but they seem to go against what Bernie would want if they were violent.

Well that explains that... oh well. I'll just continue to watch the disaster unfold. So many uneducated voters going around and lol kkck's vid yesterday was hilarious. The way the Republicans so nonchalantly pushed the buttons. What scum and all the while passing laws that make it harder for people inclined to vote democrat and tagging it as safety precautions xD about as shitty as they can get as people short of being psychopathic. I don't doubt there are many democrats who do this too tho but something tells me the ratio of demoncats to refuglickans doing this probably tilts to the jeebus worshippers being the biggest offenders.

I'm actually curious as to whether the democrats did the same, if not similar, thing long time ago. I'm guessing they did around the 1800s, given more seemed to want to keep slavery and eventually broke off from United States and created Confederate States.. I think. At least, Jefferson Davies was a democrat while Abraham Lincoln was a republican.

Truth be told, I'd rather have Obama take up third term again over getting Drumpf, Cruz, or Hillary as president. Bernie is an apt successor, but will he be able to get much done? I mean, Obama likely couldn't do much due to the politicians fighting him on almost everything and preventing Obama from being able to bring about change. If I recall, democrats turned on him too. For all the talk Drumpf keeps doing, I highly doubt he can ban anyone from entering or force Mexico to pay for a wall if the others don't agree with it.

His supporters seem to think he can, although I'm sure they're supporting him because of his policy to ban Muslims from immigrating.

It's why I'm pretty confident 99% of Drumpf supporters are racist pieces of shit. :)
