I would not rule out that they can bring out another chapter to promote the anime or occasionally for some anniversary but in the magazine they certainly did not mention them

It's pretty dumb if it's a one-shot and not a new arc considering it's ending on a cliffhanger.

It is not "if".

But it is an oneshot, it is written right at the beginning.

It's highly likely it'll have a continuation. Jump has been rather kind to Kubo, so while it might not be weekly, they will probably allow him to do what he's currently doing with Burn the Witch and release it at his own leisure. Burn the Witch's 2nd Season wasn't announced until much later.

I didn't say there was a mention of new chapters, I said it's highly likely to have a continuation and it might just be announced later. I don't know for sure, but given how Jump is allowing Kubo to create, it's within the realm of possibilty.

They are not the same though. And Death Note gets plenty of spin-offs and movies here and there. Not to mention that Death Note duo worked on other series (Bakuman and the angel manga or something).

Burn the Witch and this one-shot are still part of Bleach universe. So far Kubo hasn't drawn anything which is not related to it. This chapter ends with a cliffhanger and teaser for a new arc.

That's exactly what I am saying. Burn the Witch ended up being Bleach related. Bakuman or that other angel manga aren't.


Death Note has had many one-shots/spin-offs/movies. Kubo's new works are strictly related to Bleach as of now.
