"regen"? She has shown the power to instantly regen pretty much everyone in an entire army simultaneously over and over throughout an entire large scale battle without breaking a single sweat or sign of exertion of her power, what does that have to do with healing herself? she's never been put in a position where she's had to heal herself from major damage in the first place.

I am also confused by your statement that "she is AA tier in magic but this doesnt put her in 100k range"? That doesnt mean anything in particular...if her magic is insane and we find out her total PL is like 80 or 90k, that makes her AA level, regardless of whether her magic stat is her biggest asset or not.
She actually did heal herself after Chandler cut her forehead.

You didn't read what I wrote. She had to heal herself by pressing her hand to her forehead. If her arms were broken or not working there's no way she could've healed herself like Sariel and Tarmiel did. And in combat, she wouldn't have the time to do that since all her magic is done by hand. If she needs to press her hand against a serious injury to heal it then that's an opening which is why she would lose.

Still doesn't change the fact that you use opinions to deny manga evidence when it comes to Elizabeth.

But let us not digress any further with Elizabeth, I don't want to anger papa @Demonspeed any further :arf

If it's not ark, what is it then?

Quote in the Elizabeth thread please, @Demonspeed is actually about to spank all of us.
It's light magic as explained by Sariel. This explains why our "light magic" didn't work on you. Light magic is the general overall term, "ark", is a subset

Ark is light magic.

''Spiteful saint'' is an ark technique and it's what Sariel was talking about in the ''our light magic dun nothing''

Where did you get the idea that light magic is a subset of ark?

That's like saying darkness by itself is a subset of demonic magic when it's realistically demonic magic itself.

Ark is a subset of light magic. Darkness is essentially dark magic. The spells that derive from darkness are a subset of dark magic, such as Melascula's cocoon, or soul stealing. Ark, well the only definition we've gotten from ark, is that it's a power that specifically targets darkness. Furthermore every ark we've seen thus far, or at least when the enemy shouts "ark", has been to disintegrate the target.

Elizabeth's

Let There Be Light targeted the darkness inside the Indura, something which ark does naturally.

Her invigorate neutralised demonic poison.

Her tranquillise purified demon miasma.

It still looks like ark to me with how it works, just because they don't shout ''ARKKKKKKK'' at every spell doesn't mean it isn't ark.

Heck, Elizabeth slapped Meliodas with ark but never named it ''ark'' - is that just light magic to you?

But ark has always been shown to disintegrate and do damage. Where was it stated that ark and light magic were overall synonymous? I can't remember seeing that every single light magic is automatically ark. I always noticed that each magic had it's purpose, and that some were called ark, which were used to disintegrate, and other's like invigorate and tranq were used to cleanse, while normal light magic was used to heal. But where did it ever state they all fall under "ark"?

Ark breaks down darkness with particles of light, but it was never specified that you have to do damage with it to consider it as ''ark'

If Elizabeth purifies which breaks down darkness with particles of light, or neutralises demonic magic with light, it should be ark.

It was never specified to be different from ark, so i don't know why you're thinking that the light element is a sub-set ability?

So if ark is any spell that breaks down darkness it would make Invigorate or tranq ark? But "breath of bless" isnt, so that would fall under "light magic" then? Basically ark is the damage counteracting classification, and everything else such as brainwashing is light magic? Anyway assuming "let there be light", is ark, but a technique exclusive to Elizabeth, how would it prove that her ark is overall superior? Wouldn't it just prove that she knows a more powerful spell than they do? Considering unlike other ark's, "let there be light", targets internal excess darkness?

Honestly, just agree to disagree, this is confusing me lol

Personally though, I just consider it all ark, just Nakaba hasn't differentiated them yet, and I believe he would've done so immediately if they were different types of magic.

Because Elizabeth had significantly higher levels of effectiveness with her magic in comparison to Ludoshel individually. Ludoshel can't scratch a single Indura, even when Derriere is not being serious with him, yet Elizabeth can place 2 Indura's in a stronger form (when they were against Ludoshel) near the threshold of defeat and submission.

Higher effectiveness suggests her magic power is essentially much higher, which brings me to why I say her ark is superior, since there is more raw power behind it.

In simple terms, her magic stat PL is higher than the Archangels.

Plus, if you look at the narrative, characters and Elizabeth's feats, her ark is superior.

Her ark is significantly more versatile and powerful in different areas:

In healing, she's demonstrated the ability to heal the entirety of the Liones Country (without memories) or heal an entire battle squad in a war without much effort. The Archangels have shown the ability to heal on a large scale, but nothing as grand as Elizabeth can do. Hell, she can even multi-task with her light, which the angels haven't demonstrated, to both heal and attack with the same light.

Elizabeth can summon biblical whales for multiple purposes, whilst we don't know the strength of the whale specifically, it's still a positive for Elizabeth since it gives her more options to choose from in her arsenal when in battle. Imagining using the whale to eat all incoming attacks, ride into battle, or swallow the enemy whole? It's still an option for her to use, and gives her more options in battle in comparison to the angels who just seem to have ark shields and blasts to use.

Elizabeth purifies much better. Hell, she has ''Let There Be Light'' which is the strongest purification spell yet, and I'm pretty sure none can contest the fact that Elizabeth is the best at purifying in the clan.

Elizabeth's offensive ark has feats behind it. Easily roasts Derriere's hand when she doesn't even know what she is doing, and in a weakened form is able to bruise a off-guard Meliodas at 142k whilst Ludoshel was in the same position against Zeldris but left a bloody lip at best.

But did she affect them because of the significant nature of "let there be light"? If she didnt use let there be light, but rather the same type of blast Ludo did, would it have been more effective? I'm merely questioning the differences in attack really. Ludo himself attacked Indura's in their entirety while Elizabeth went beyond that and targeted their very core. Not Derriere, or Monspiet, but the Indura's themselves. It's hard for me to compare those two attacks when they had different natures. Even if we assume her magic is higher, the difference in spells is still quite clear. I dont deny that her ark is more versatile however, and even more powerful when it comes to purging, but does it really pack more of a punch?

She's certainly more versatile and a much more skilled healer that's true. I do think that versatility is one of the benefits of her being the SD's daughter in that she has more overall access to different techniques.

Isn't Ludo in a weakened form as well though? I'll have to go re-check if he's at full power or not. As for Elizabeth, she definitely gets a point for bruising Mel, which is why I have always placed her at the 60-90k range. I just don't know if she breaks the 100k range. Although if the grace makes up for a majority of the archangels power level then you very well may be right in that she has higher magic. It depends on if the grace's work like the commandments do where they act as add-ons/weapons, or if they contribute to power level as a whole.

I believe so, since her magic power is much stronger than Ludoshel, an offensive ark blast would've had significant levels of effectiveness in comparison to the angels.

Elizabeth's purification spell placed these Indura's at the threshold of being purified, if Elizabeth had poured all of her magic into one giant offensive ark blast (or something else that is offensive by nature) I believe she would've done mortal damage, but would've failed to ultimately kill them.

I'm merely questioning the differences in attack really. Ludo himself attacked Indura's in their entirety while Elizabeth went beyond that and targeted their very core. Not Derriere, or Monspiet, but the Indura's themselves.
Elizabeth still has to target the Indura's body to get to their very core in order to purify the darkness, its the same for Ludoshel, because after all, ark breaks down darkness with particles of light, and since darkness seems to be part and parcel of a demon's nature (e.g darkness resides inside them), it's the same journey realistically both Elizabeth and Ludoshel take, but they reach a different end result.

Plus, Elizabeth's light was able to be physically resisted by the Indura, same with Ludoshel, meaning the Indura's resisted both spells in the same manner.

In simple terms, Ludoshel's light causes a reaction inside the Indura's bodies that results in damage, Elizabeth does the same thing but merely has a result of purification.

It's hard for me to compare those two attacks when they had different natures.
Different natures?

First of all, both spells are presumably fall under the category of ark, so their basic and core nature is the same (i.e - they both have the same levels of effectiveness against darkness)

Second, the routes they take are essentially the same. Both spells target the darkness inside the enemy's body and come out with different results.

Ark naturally targets the darkness that is part and parcel of a demon's biology, but merely Ludoshel intends to destroy and cause harm rather than purify.

Even if we assume her magic is higher, the difference in spells is still quite clear. I dont deny that her ark is more versatile however, and even more powerful when it comes to purging, but does it really pack more of a punch?
It should do.

If her magic power (PL) is higher than Ludoshel's, then it should mean that all of her ark abilities at full power, are superior to his ark at full power e.g healing, purifying and even offensive ark.

She's certainly more versatile and a much more skilled healer that's true. I do think that versatility is one of the benefits of her being the SD's daughter in that she has more overall access to different techniques.
If you can agree that the benefits of being the Supreme Goddesses only daughter means her ark has more versatility and power in healing, do you agree this applies to Elizabeth's purifying and offensive ark skills/power then?

I believe people undermine the hereditary of Elizabeth's character far too easily. Sure, being the SG's daughter alone is not enough to be immediately classed as AA tier or higher, I understand that, but at the same time, I imagine being the only child of a literal God means she has access to exclusive abilities and potential that no other Goddess in her clan has. even the angels. Hell, it's not just coincidence that Zeldris and Meliodas are the strongest in the clan in the hierarchy of: Demon King > Meliodas > Zeldris > Masters > Everyone else.

So if Nakaba is consistent, shouldn't it be: Supreme Goddess > Elizabeth > Four Archangels (discounting graces for obvious reasons)?

Isn't Ludo in a weakened form as well though? I'll have to go re-check if he's at full power or not
I'm actually still confused on Ludoshel's position with his magic power whilst residing within Margaret.

He comments regularly that she is the perfect vessel, which is implies that he is able to conjure the full power of his magic power that he possessed back in his original body. After all, Sariel and Tarmiel's hosts were mere average humans, but Margaret seems to be a special and exclusive host.

I think Ludoshel having access to his full magic power makes sense, because after all, he did contest Zeldris, was able to minimally injure him with a basic ark, and extended his prowess by blocking his magic attack like ''child's play''.

So Ludoshel, isn't weakened magically it seems potentially, but rather is finding difficult in controlling his power inside a host, as he commented during his encounter with Zeldris.

Though, I would argue that Ludoshel inside Margaret's body still has the same physical capabilities as the princess, unless Flash (which is a magic power) alters the speed of her body, but leave the other physical features of her body alone (e.g durability).

As for Elizabeth, she definitely gets a point for bruising Mel, which is why I have always placed her at the 60-90k range. I just don't know if she breaks the 100k range
Even at 80,000 or 90,000 - it still places Elizabeth at AA tier or very close.

Personally, to me she is at AA tier, and is on par, slightly weaker, or slightly stronger in PL to Ludoshel, since she has wings very comparable to him. She's simply a physically weaker AA but in turn has stronger ark/magic to the other angels.

Although if the grace makes up for a majority of the archangels power level then you very well may be right in that she has higher magic. It depends on if the grace's work like the commandments do where they act as add-ons/weapons, or if they contribute to power level as a whole.
Besides sunshine, the graces do not influence PL and are merely magical abilities that extend the battle prowess of the Four Archangels.

If you took away Ocean, Tornado, or Flash from the respective angel, they wouldn't lose any PL technically, but would weaken realistically due to losing very powerful magical abilities.

So Sariel or Tarmiel at a potential 90,000 PL, wouldn't lose any PL without their graces. Same for Ludoshel.

Mael with sunshine, or Escanor with sunshine is an exception, since the fundamental nature of the grace itself influences PL, the other 3 however do not influence PL.

The commandments are the same, when held by the user, they merely reside as passive curse abilities that bind the owner and everyone else around them (except to those with immunity) to their conditions. For example, Galan holding the truth commandment merely grants him with the curse ability of truth, binding everyone around him (and himself) to turn to stone if they tell any lies. Holding a commandment doesn't influence PL, and this makes sense considering the Demon King created these curses in order to bring the chaotic Demonic realm under his control. He wanted stability and control, and by having these commandments that: make demons tell the truth, keep faith in their leader, can't betray their leader (piety) and etc, he can do this successfully.

Now commandments when being held do not influence PL, take away the truth commandment from Galan and his PL stays the same, however his PL can increase if he decides to absorb the commandment. Granted, not everybody can absorb a commandment successfully as there's a specific process for it, but fundamentally absorbing a commandment increases your PL (as you as taking in the 5% of DK's power) but lose the respective curse passive ability in the process.

Same should apply to the graces, though I'd wonder why you would want to absorb sunshine given it makes the weakest character in the shower with it able to take out the future demon king at its peak :3c

She didn't damage them however, the ark didn't even penetrate until Sariel and Tarmiel popped up. We can't tell if an offensive attack would've done anything either. What it did initially do, was push them back.

I see, makes sense

See the problem with that is that it makes the Archangels seem so sub-par without their graces. I mean ludo, who is supposedly above 90k, couldnt hurt a 61k demon while catching him off guard AND using light magic? It's a very strange thing which is why I question whether he was truly using everything in that moment.

Well yes I figured they were similar to the commandments in that way, but it's quite a bit strange because then you have it where a 90k+ demon couldnt really hurt a 61k demon with ark which is suppose to offer a natural advantage. Now considering grace doesn't make up their powerlevel, it means a majority of that 90k, is in magic, considering they aren't much for physical power. Which brings me to my other question, when Elizabeth used "let there be light" she released all of her magic sending massive energy flowing throughout her surroundings. Would the archangels releasing their magic have that same effect? Or was that effect exclusive to "let there be light"? Because from that scene alone, it's the most amount of magic we've seen from a goddess no doubt. At least in a sense where you can visibly see the effect it has on things around the caster. Because that's the key difference for me really, that particular scene, was the exact cause for her attack being so powerful. The release of all of her magic and focusing it into "let there be light". Do you think the archangels have shown all of their power in a similar manner, or are they not to the level where they can release all of their magic and cause a massive gust of energy?

As for absorbing sunshine, I mean if you don't absorb it then you still have to deal with it's weakness which is that you're far below the likes of AM Mel for 99% of the day. But it also brings the question, that would absorbing sunshine give you 100% of it's power or would you still be susceptible to it's rules?

Let us start another argument shall we :cheez

Elizabeth's Ark is more versatile than the Four Archangels and her use of the Goddesses magic is far superior to them as they are more reliant on their graces as a main method of fighting.

3/4 of the Four Archangels have all praised "The Princess of the GC" :hip in fact Sariel and Tarmiel refer to her as "lady" not just because she is the Supreme Deity's daughter but her power as a whole.Ludoshel has not praised her because he's just salty :no but in that sense he's never disregarded her power either and when she went up to stop the fight agaisn't the Indura he did ask for her help so I guess he just doesn't want to praise her because since she's not interested in his brother :celebrate

But I took note of something Tarmiel and Sariel said "Top ranked Demon or not to come out unscratched after taking Lady Elizabeth's Ark head on is impressive"
So from I read that I said oh really that indirectly confirms that she should be able to harm pretty much any Demon (except the Demon King off course) as we know why it failed agaisn't "Estarossa" cause he's actually a Goddess.
I don't think they mean it's completely inaffective agaisn't all Goddesses cause I can't see the Archangels using Ark on Nerobasta and do not damage at all.But when a Goddess that is lower ranked than another trys to use it agaisn't the higher Goddess (so Mael>Elizabeth,Sariel And Tarmiel<Mael) it is nearly completely useless that's what he mean't.

That indirectly confirms Elizabeth did in fact harm Meliodas in Assault Mode so no more denying she has a feat of harming a 142K power leveled Demon:smile-big
