I always thought something was wrong with this. When Zeldris got hit in the face by Ludociel he was totally unprepared and he still got nothing more than a bloody lip. And from the Estarosa vs Sariel & Tarmiel fight everyone thinks that the AA's are 90k and Ludo 100k+. Then how the hell did Zeldris not get erased if he was 61k and Ludo's entire magic stat is probably more than that. Makes me think that the AA's are 50k and Ludo 60-65k (Mael has sunshine so his PL changes). And the graces are just overpowered and that's why they do so much damage. And the ark being so strong - when they sliced a *supposed* 116k Estarossa apart i think that's because of the "light is effective against darkness" thing, but maybe it's just me.. Also i'll probably get lynched by
@OtakuFreak for saying this, but the only way i see that this makes sense is if we go like that. Also Ludociel has almost perfect magic flow/control in Margaret's body so that's out of the question. What's your opinion? Maybe i'm wrong, i don't know. Also don't tell me that Zeldris is that durable to just negate a 40k+ gap while his opponent's magic stat is more than likely bigger than his entire PL <- going by people's logic of Ludo 100k+.
Well, let me try to explain.
First of all, everyone is suggesting and implying that the Archangels, or Ludoshel are specifically inbetween the power levels of 90-100k since Tarmiel commented that a 88k Estarossa was "almost" as strong as them. Naturally, Ludoshel is much stronger than Sariel or Tarmiel, so he is probably closer to 100k.
As for the whole Zeldris vs Ludoshel situation, there are multiple reasons why he only sustained minimal damage:
-Ludoshel only used a ark of "greeting". So it probably wasn't his strongest or something on his spectrum of abilities that is considered weaker, despite the size of the ark.
-Ludoshel noted that he lacked control over his magic in Margarets body. Hinting that he couldn't control the arks power, possibly weaking it.
-Add in the fact that Ludoshel is definitely not at his strongest currently. Whilst Margaret as a vessel is superior to that of Solaseed or Tarmiel's host, I don't believe that Ludoshel is actually capable of using 100% of his magic power. If he can, then he certainly didn't in the moment considering his lack of control.
-Zeldris is durable. Sariel and Tarmiel in hosts used a combination of multiple arks and couldn't harm Estarossa, who's slightly more durable than a base Zeldris. So realistically, Ludoshel in a host isn't going to that much damage.
- Zeldris was prepared to fight Merlin. Sure, he was surprised by Ludoshels attack but he was still battle ready and not off-guard.
-Perhaps the nature of the ark he used as well had diminished results. Most other arks just blast demons, but this one seemed to place Zeldris in a cocoon of light? Seems weaker to me than a outright blast.
Basically,
Ludoshel being inside a human host + weaker ark + Zeldris being durable = minimal damage.
