Fairy Tail isn't the worst manga there is. There are some horrible shit out there. But it will always serve as a bad example because it is popular.

This is kinda off topic but seeing as Rusty joined Crime Sorciere in the anime, I assumed he would eventually join in the manga too, anyone else think it'll still happen?

We've got seven more chapters so who knows. Maybe Marilyn Manson guy from TOH joins. I wonder what happened to him....

Well many FT fans are active in Yakusoku No Neverland forum.You can join it.And i noticed some FT fans read SNK.And in Tokyo Ghoul forum only me and @WithYouInSpirit are regularly active.

I know lakhan and @SirSamuel016 regularly read TG.But not sure about others.

Irene gives you confidence and appreciation of yourself. I feel wiser and more mellow with my August avi. He is a kind of confidence booster as well bcs who doesn't want to rock a mane and an eight pack at 80 years old? Tho I feel some aches in my back as well.

Can't lie, seeing 540's memory cover I finally got hit w/ nostalgia that FT is ending. Regardless of the deserved or undeserved flak for the arc shit is gonna suck and be boring for awhile when it's over in 2 months. What's everyone favorite memory cover? We still have Tartaros, Zero, Avatar and Alvarez, Tartaros and Alvarez prob will be my favorites, but so far I like these ones:

Regarding the ten wizard saints, I always hoped that we would get this 'champions' GMG mini-arc for them in line with that meeting they were supposed to have.

Personally, it would have been awesome to have an arc, after FT momentarily disbanded, about wizards not from FT.

Each council from the different countries/continents have their own version of ten highly skilled mages known in Ishgar as the wizard saints. As a show of good politics among neighboring countries/even continents, they couldve organized an event akin to this one.

In all honesty, I kinda dislike the "Zeref being an emperor" plotline. It made me lose some mad respect for his competence as the strongest dark mage of all time(given he really needed those shields as shown by later chapters). I would've preferred him to remain independent and deadly as is.

Back to the improvised GMG idea.
How cool would it have been seeing the GOI live up to their hype?! Imagine FT' s strongest team but revamped with the GOI this time. Badass intro. Cool fights among highly esteemed mages of each country. We finally see the extents of vampire magic. All serena' s elements. Friggin wolfheim (badass name). Warrod actually fighting for real.

This tournament would've given an idea as to the validity of WS rankings. For example, just because you have a higher rank doesn't make you stronger. Basically, many fan-assumptions regarding the WS would've been confirmed if Mashima would've gone this route.

Now imagine seeing the participants(WS from other lands). Essentially badass new mages with advanced forms of their magic. Little to no plot-influenced battles.

How cool would it have been to have August as the rank 1 from some other country. Irene from another country.
Wall from a country wherein machias are the only inhabitants. A land with tge largest number of dark guilds (for Ajeel or Dimaria). An invitation to strong guild-less mages that a certain country's council recognizes as impressive.

Instead of teasing us about who couldve been the 'strongest' spriggan. Mashima couldve hyped August, Irene there. He could have hyped all the other spriggans similarly there (however they won't be spriggans this time). He couldve teased an August vs Irene bout in that context. Not given them the lame fights they had this arc. Used them for our protagonists(to give them justifiable power-ups (looking at Natsu and Erza)).

Any thoughts?

545 will be the last according to Mashima.

I think 541 counts too & then 4 chapters

Didnt mashima confirmed on twitter he was drawing the final chapter & on the paper it says 545
