• the stuff about the characters deaths is still dumb no matter how you slice it but I've never Rave so I can't get a grip w/ where he's coming from
• Brandish is someone like to draw. From the volumes she was the most popular female Spriggan 12 among japanese fans so I can understand.
• Acnologia was someone he wanted to get into his backstory more, Zeref got hundreds of chapters worth of info but Acnologia was one he never really got too besides a few excerpts we knew about him
• FT has spinoff potential cause of its world so maybe we'll see something around when the anime airs

He just admitted that he never planned anything at all, that he didn't even know what would happen in the next chapter and even then he sounds so fucking proud about it. And this guy is a writer?

Oh yeah, and that stupid explanation about the fakes deaths is dumb, even for him.
If he doesn´t want to kill people why he write those moments in the first place? he thinks that his fans are stupid or what?

Everyone likes the female characters in Fairy Tail. They seem to be both strong and sexy at the same time and self-confident. How did you go about making such balanced female characters?

This is actually kind of what I like in females. This my personal taste so I inserted it into the character. It's kind of my wish.

He has good taste in women Pretty much he admitted he wanted some waifus and created some.

He just admitted that he can't kill characters because of the reaction of the fandom.Well we already saw it when there was fake deaths of Gajeel,Mira and Juvia in the twitter section of Mashima.


But in the long run it ruined the series a lot.There was no tension or fear left.


Rave Master is a great series because it had tensions and characters died like Seighart and Reina.So there was horror among the fans and no unnecessary fake deaths.Rave Master is not hated like FT.

But anyway the good thing is that the Anime will probably add more things.

Mashima could have killed Makarov off though. Everyone expected him to do die at some point but Mashima just disn't want to and Makarov isn't a popular character either.

Makarov or Gildarts.Gildarts dying would have created a huge impression among the FT like Gale did when he died in Rave.

Yay Brandish! The anime may dive even deeper in her life when Grammi was alive

Also Acnologia’s backstory with Sonya was fine for the premise but wasn’t fleshed out at all... anime has to add more.

I want more on Brandish too! Like how who took her in after her mom died and why she was close to August. And why she thought Layla specifically killed her mom and not bandits..... how her rivalry with Dimaria began.

Sonya was interesting in the movie with that plot twist but really I would like to see Acnologia before his family was eaten. Like how we saw Zeref before he got cursed and Irene before her dragon slaying magic. Sonya seemed like she was the Eclair of movie 2. Eclair had a cameo appearance near Mavis in FT Zero. Sonya seems to be Acnologia’s Eclair to have a cameo in his backflash. She didn’t seem she had a relationship like Wendy and Mystogan did to him.

He’s really admitted this before that he was just going with the flow. Because I think I remember he said he would do it probably with his next manga too.

I succeeded with in Fairy Tail is developing lots and lots of characters with very unique personalities

Sorry, can someone remind me which people exactly he is refering to?
A lot? Are we really sure it's a lot!

Some how I knew there was going to be a Brandish spin off because of how much Mashima loves Brandish which I’m not complaining. Maybe there can be a spin off about Anna’s backstory, a spin off about Lucy searching for the Aquarius’s Key, another Laxus spin off, and a Crime Sorciere spin off.

I’m so happy there’s going to be a Brandish spin off and I can see the anime showing more of her life with Grammi was like. Also is the anime going to start in January, April, or October?

Somehow I see Brandish having her own sitcom.

No clue. I hope January I can't take this wait.
