I wonder why Sting and Rogue didn't teach Natsu and Gazeel how to use the "drive-mode".
I mean since Natsu and Gazeel can't enter DF on their own this would be a nice power up for them. especially in the current manga arc I bet it would have helped a lot.

I've been collecting Fairy Tail manga for a few years now for later read when it is finishes.

I've a question for those people here who are up-to-date with the latest manga events! Can you guess how much until this manga is finished, how much chapter away based on the current events?

I've been waiting years now to read this manga as a whole finally.. how much do you think I've to wait?

PLEASE Dont spoil anything!! I Dont want to know ANYTHING that is currently going on nor discussion about it, only a guess how many chapter needs until every major event is resolved, every villain is dead! At least is the manga at halfway point or two-third (2/3) aready?

hmm, I would say maybe about 150-200 chapters left.
but I wouldn't be sursprised if he will end it at chapter 777
but that would be >300 chapters.
(you gotta read the manga to understand this, so I would say no real spoiler. if you think this one: sorry)

The author use gender neutral pronouns in japanese for Frosch. When asked in his Twitter account about Frosch gender, he aswered it was a secret.

Every time I reread the old chapters, it hits me just how bad and cheesy this manga is. I'll still read it, but I probably should not reread it ever. Hebus Jebus man, so bad.

Really? I don't think the old chapters are so bad. The major problems I have with Fairy tail is the excessive fanservice and the fact that the good guys always beat the crap out of the villains at the end. It's hard to build tension when you know how it will end, especially when the focus of the "camera" during critical moments is on woman body parts.

I didn't think so at first either, with the theme bein about friendship. But every time I reread it, it's just... why did I even get into this? There's also the fact that good guys get some sort of nakama powerup that's dumb or unrealistic, like the Dragon twins getting a powerup that took out their master in one shot when they should have done that at the start. I'm assuming the fan service is to distract the readers from how horrible the plot and manga is.

Simon, Ul ,Rob, Future Lucy, Layla, Jude, Laharl, Org Roshi and Gran Doma.

It's not like the bad guys died either (before this arc anyway, I guess killing demons is ok for some reason?), so I'm not sure what you're getting at.

Lets list them: the only "bad" guys who've died are Hades, Zancrow (Both killed by Zeref), Brain (killed by cobra), and nearly all the members of tartaros (killed by fairy tail mages).

Well, Juvia certainly killed Keith (she exploded him from the inside...).
Greys father also *died* again as a result.
Wendy and Charle left Ezel to die in the first face explosion, if he wasn't already dead.
Minerva killed Kyoka. Sayla who was absorbed by Kyoka is also dead, either as result of being absorbed, or Kyoka dying.
Franmalth died as a result of the natsu/lucy fight against him, since he ended up in Hells core, but only revived partially.

Tempesta, Jackal, Torafusa and Jiemma could be alive I suppose, but given that every result that has been confirmed has shown the loser Demon dead, other than Mard Geer, I'm leaning towards the assumption that they died too.
