Of course but im talking about the main characters/villains.I don't like a lot of characters from fairy tail too but since i like Natsu and Lucy and the manga is focusing in these 2 im good with it.I will not keep it up because its totally out of topic and im sorry.

Hm, well, it would probably just affect an arc or so. I don't really think you have to like the main characters to enjoy a manga for reasons stated earlier. Natsu and Lucy for example though main characters also share similar panel times with the likes of Gray and so. This is also the hangout thread so feel free. There's no need to apologize.

But Gray and Erza are the deuteragonist and tritagonist of this story. So it makes sense that one of them could take a lead role at any moment in the manga if lets say Natsu went evil for a arc. But it seems like a few fans of fairytail would rather see Gildarts or Jellal take on Zeref and not see Natsu surpass Zeref using his own power, or wish a character like Mirajane some how take what ever limited role Erza has.

While it's understandable that most fans just want to see their favorite character take a more active role, it boggles my mind that some would just rather a side character just some how replace one of the lead 4 in importance to the story.

Plot wise one of the 4 main characters will always have some type of special reason why the manga focus on them.

Maybe Hiro Mashima just didn't do a good job portraying Natsu and Lucy to his readers. You don't really hear to many fans complain about Luffy or Goku saving the day as much as they complain about Natsu.

But to be honest Natsu didn't interest me till his backstory with Zeref came to light, I was always a Lucy fan right out the gate.

How is it possible for Zeref to be cursed?

Title might be a bit misleading but carry on reading

To make things simple we can all agree that END created curses as it was revealed in Tartaros arc.

400 years ago Zeref was "cursed" by Ankhseram, how was this possible though if END created curses and END wasn't born yet at the time.

Am I missing something?

The curse of Ankhseram and the Curses that the demons from Zeref's book use are fundamentally different. The curse that Ankhseram put on Zeref is a literal curse in that it affects the person's way of life, as we've seen with Zeref's thoughts always being contradicted and him being immortal. The curses used by the Demons from Zeref's books are different from this in that they're not proper 'curses', but rather a different type of magic to be simple. They're called curses because they're based off negative emotions, but never actually impact other people by crippling their life in various ways.
What I'm saying is that Ankhseram's curse is an actual curse, while the other curses are in a way a type of magic.

You're talking about 2 different things.

Cursed and Curses.

Cursed can be by anybody and at any time. If you break a law by a god/goddess, he/she can curse you. Like Ankhseram and Zeref..

Curses is just a name attached to a type of attack or spell. In other words, you aren't really cursed, you just use spells that are called Curses.

It's all in the name, nothing specific..

It all depends on what really happened. If it turned out that Natsu was a child the whole time and Mard Geer just made stuff up, then pretty much everything Mard says about END is just a myth. Then we don't really have a problem.

How old is Natsu?

Anyone know the correct age for natsu right now?

He was 5 i think when he died...

5 when revived

After that i guess if u count the 400+ years in time travel(but the real age his now after tenrou and all that too)

Any guesses?

I'm pretty sure he was 17 when Tenrou happened, so 7 years ahead and he'd technically be 24, then another year up to where we are now and he's 25, not counting the 400 year time travel. But seeing nothing happened to his body in those 7 years after Tenrou because of Fairy Sphere, his body is technically around 18 years old.

Currently, there's no difference. The WS are now the magic council. Pre TS and before Tartarus though, the magic council was separate from the WS. The Magic council governed the magic world while the WS were the 'strongest' wizards on the continent (or the acknowledged strongest anyway). After the initial MC got wiped out, the WS then became the MC

Apparently Natsu was 7 when Igneel left him (which I find hard to believe) so in the start of the series apparently he is 14... My friend told me this which I strongly disagree with. Natsu was clearly a similar age to Gray when he first came to the guild. Gray is 18 so Natsu is probably 17/18. Of course then there is always the 7 year time skip making himself 24/25 and then the extra one year time skip making him 25/26 and then adding on the 400 years that makes him roughly 425/426 years old. I count the 7 years as aging due to the fact that in Avatar: The Last Airbender, Aang was considered 112 years old even though his body didn't age. Because of this Natsu and everyone else's bodies on Tenrou didn't age but they themselves did.
