I don't mind PoF provided it is not used to make the ranking of powers deceiving which is what most people are falling for right now. I respect the fact that Fairy Tail is a story about Hiro Mashima's life and so I support the theme of family and friends which may have been a real impact to his life. This is the legit part and true meaning of PoF. This is not a criticism of the author though. This is a criticism of the feats involved, which is fine. I can guarantee that you can't tell me you liked everything that has happened in all the films, movies, and animes that you have watched. I don't care though. I really hope Natsu beats August in a one on one fight with no help. Please make it happen... I can already imagine an uproar. Why? Because I don't see Laxus in the picture.
Again, I don't know why people all of a sudden are becoming technical with definitions. The definition of cheap shot works. There is no indication of it being the wrong word to describe the battle. Besides, calling something a cheap shot is very much mild compare to the other terms which usually get confused and associated with what most people perceive as anger or bashing which is why I don't use it. I don't mind people not wanting to call it a cheap shot, nor did I expect them to but people shouldn't tell me that I can't use it as it is the wrong word to label the fight. No, the Erza vs Azuma is the closest Laxus' battle with Wahl. He literally used the same technique as Erza except you replace Fairy Tail with Yury Dreyar. I can see Erza vs Minerva also being unrealistic but if we were to compare, Erza vs Azuma is the exact same.
Even if I didn't expect Laxus to have Red Lightning, he would win regardless. For example, someone like Jellal can show up and assist Laxus in defeating Wahl. That would be okay. But because it was intended for Laxus to solo this one, then it would take a much longer fight before I would accept that. But no. Laxus spent about 2 chapters and completely annihilated a Spriggan with a power that was unexplained.
Okay, then we'll just disagree. I'm perfectly okay with that as I have no intention of making people believe what I say. However, I will become defensive if I am challenged by a word that is not that hard to understand.
