Helloooo lovely Fairy Tail Community, how is it going for you guys? I take it that the recent chapter really hyped you for the upcoming 500th chapter, huh? Actually, it must be very hard to calm down after what's happened. May I ask you for your attention and distract you just a little bit?

As you know, we are in the middle of the Husbando Wars and I would like to ask you for your participation and/or support. We have 4 FT candidates, including Laxus, Hibiki, Gray and my nomination Jellal. If we all pull together, we can even have a great Fairy Tail final (see bracket)! :3

So, if you think those are legit nomination, then get your shit together and support the FT candidates! Especially Jellal is in dire need for your help, since he is up against Guts from Berserk and Ken Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul... the only section who comes close to FT. Do you guys want to admit defeat against the TG section like Natsu did against Gildarts back then? Or do you want to aizen-stomp the TG section like Acnologia did against Serena-chan? It's up to you.

Oh I understand that they stand at the top.... but to do it in such a ridiculous manner?
When Luffy came back from the time-skip, was he one-shotting Admirals?
When Naruto came back from the time-skip, was he one-shotting members of the Akatsuki?
When Ichigo had his time-skip, did he obtain enough power to one-shot Sternritter?
Also with their power spikes, you also usually get a power spike for every side character, we've seen it with the captains in bleach, the supernova in one-piece and Naruto's fellow hidden leaf Ninja, the MC's power spikes are never greater to this extent.

Also observe... all of these MC's have had a longer time-skip then Natsu lol......

1) When Luffy came back , he was strong enough to fight VICE-ADMIRALS, the 2nd strongest....who had spent years training.......Yes , not admirals & Yonkou.......
Similar with NATSU , strong enough to beat S-12 mid-tiers,......has not beaten AUGUST , LARCADE , ZEREF , ACNOLOGIA.

2) NARUTO had Kyuubi. He always had power.NATSU similarly has END....He had became powerful enough to crush Oorochimaru....Not strong enough to beat AKATSUKI & MADARA.....But he eventually & had taken out most of the members of Akatsuki............Similar will be with NATSU who will be strong enough soon to take ACNo & party.

3) ICHIGO was a kid who surpassed the Gotei-13 who had been for a millenium i.e. 1000 years. He defeated BYAKUYA with only few days of training.......He had his hollow form......His power up was much greater than all the MCs of diff series put together.......After time-skip , he was nearly at YAMAMOTO GENRYUSAI...

As for side characters , only characters near to MC are given power-up .....In each & every manga , this has happened.....But did INOUE's , CHAD's , or SAKURA's / SHIKAMARU etc powerups had any role there ? None..

The other thing is MASHIMA does not want +600 chapters like all the other manga u mentioned.....One has 700 , Bleach 686 & one piece will still go on nearly half a decade.

Moreover , MASHIMA had been the fan of AKIRA TORIYAMA just like the authors of all the 3 series...So , it is obvious u will see a part which is similar to him......TORIYAMA's power ups has been the influence of all the current artists with successful runs.....

There is a small difference between Erza and Natsu though.
Lets use the Neinhart fight (Natsu) and the Ajeel fight (Erza)

Ajeel -
Erza basically lost she would of been killed by Ajeel IF Jupiter was not used by Bisca which in my books is good. Erza basically lost and was saved by someone and over all it was a tough fight.
Neinhart -
Erza never faced Neinhart but even though she won against historias (makes sense because of the TS) she collapsed a second later unable to do anything.

However with Natsu
Neinhart - A simple punch...hmm ok I get it Natsu is overwhelmingly strong (I would accept it if it were a two year timeskip or longer)
Jacob - Was holding back the entire time.

You can say there is a difference between the spriggans but they are still spriggans and the ways the fights are down are different plus Erza is not overwhelmingly OP.

Yeah, that's why he's become 2.0, he is the new and improved Erza, I remember before the time-skip when I felt like she was invincible, now she feels more real, it's as if Natsu has taken the mantle from her and has become the new overpowered/unbeatable person in the guild.

1. Luffy could never one-shot a vice admiral...... so I'm not sure what you're trying to say here, sure he could fight them, but not one-shot them. Not to mention Luffy's time-skip was much longer then Natsu's.

Yeah Ichigo fought 8 SternRitter and he didn't take down a single one, actually I think he didn't get any wins in the last arc lol....except that Ivan guy he fought and that was at the beginning of the arc, he didn't even count as a SternRitter..
If Mashima was writing Bleach he would have made Ichigo one shot the Elites the moment he came back from the Royal Palace..

his future-to-be Dragon Force will be OP as hell.

even Goku(the one which other MC characters are based of) in DBZ got one one shot against Recoome. any other fight he got his ass handed to him, took his best move to take them down or he got his ass saved. even in the latest episode, he got rekted alongside Vegeta and Trunks. they even ran away. the difference is that he trains non stop.

but we are going a bit off topic. here hoping that Natsu is not there with DiMaria, Brandish and Lucy.

Really now , what would u call the defeat of KAKUZU ? He struggled very less just like NATSU.......As for powerups , I said potential power-up still in future.Just like NARUTO had the potential power up by controlling KYUUBI. Similar is with NATSU for future power-ups.

And if u have forgotten , he had made nearly 1000s of clones who went in different directions & defeated all the strong & renowned SHINOBI including former kages...He was even able to stand equally against EDo-MADARA.......

Similar to Dragonball Z , we never saw the other characters like PICCOLO , Tienshien , Krilan & Yamcha reach the powers of SAIYANS.....It only focused later on them......From Dragon ball importance , it reached on the coat-tails of SAIYANS.......

I agree with u.....U have to have a FT crest.....And not only that , u have to be near main team of FT to get power-ups.....JELLAL , LAXUS , ERZA etc will all have this kind of power-ups.

Besides , we have not seen MEREDY fight in this arc......OCs + CSs have still a role to play......

In any way , FT will get power ups more than any other guild.........especially MC's , supporting MCs & people related to them...

I m saying every author has their styles of writing & giving power-ups....If u keep comparing them , u will only get disappointed without being able to enjoy the series......Try to enjoy it......Tell me , what can u or I or anyone do ? Absolutely nothing......

Different authors have different ways of writing.. heck even the same author will have different way of writing two mangas.. it's not good to compare one manga to another..

I don't like the bs power up, but I enjoy seeing the enemy get thrashed and the nakama speeches that comes along with it. To me, fairy tail has always been about Nakama.. You'll enjoy the series more if you focus on it, instead of the bs power ups.


and besides.. Natsu is Zeref's masterpiece so I don't really mind his bs power ups though I do wish that he used a much stronger attack against neinheart.
