Jacob didn't go full out either, and that's a weird logic given he never minded damaging the guild before. The fact still stands that Natsu got a good hit because Jacob was thrown, unless he could have moved in mid-air easily.
He may have never minded damaging the guild in the past but we've seen this arc that Natsu has become a lot less reckless. It was established that he didn't want to damage the guild when he was fighting Jacob; he specifically brought it up twice during the fight and Max and Warren also mentioned it when Makarov threw him out.
Lol I feel you fam. Not knowing the limits of someone's magic makes it hard to rank them. I would have hoped that in Jacob's fight with Mira we would see the true extents of transport, but obviously Hiro does not feel the need to delve into that (for now at least).The problem is that we know so little about Transport and how it works. Who's to say Natsu couldn't just break out even if he did get Transported? Really wish that Hiro would have explained its mechanics when he had the chance, but sadly at this point in the arc it's probably not gonna happen.
It's important to know that Jacob's Transport was one of the purest spatial magics we've seen in FT. The only other spatial magic that we've seen to be able to hold others in another dimension is Minerva's Territory. Marin can cast people in another dimension w/ his Rules of the Area but only when someone uses spatial magic can he do that. Jacob can transport anyone off bucks.
He still had enough trouble that he was saved by plot - Jacob not being able to stand scantily clad girls. Pretty sure Natsu wouldn't have won that fight any more easily outside unless he had help there as well. And just because Natsu was holding back doesn't mean he could have beaten Jacob if he went all out, unless he could speedblitz Jacob or have an attack that's unavoidable in one way or another.
I agree, Natsu used to get sick from eating lightning, and then on Tenrou could. I put it down to Natsu becoming a better mage, but that's just me making stuff up basically. There's a lot of power-ups I don't like but in the end I'll accept that they exist, just some are really badly written.

Idk why they got sick previously, but it would be too overpowered to eat everything so Hiro probably made it more individual (Natsu ate fire, Gajeel ate metal). Natsu couldn't eat Zancrow's God Slayer flames until her exhausted all his magic power IIRC... but Idk how it would for demon slayer magic.

Dude, August buttfucked Crime Sorciere so hard and Zeref healed his wounds from fighting Natsu like nothing. Natsu will need to be overpowered to stand a chance against Zeref and/or August and/or Acnologia, especially when he was unable to beat Jacob without help. Either that or those three enemies will have to be nerfed somehow.
And none of that means Natsu has to eat Ice Demon Slaying magic. He could just get demon power from his own seed, or make some demon-dragon hybrid, or dragonise. Any of that sounds better than the Fire&Ice Dragon-Demon Slayer... and all would be more powerful too.
