Minerva, God Serena, Larcade. Minerva has gotten a good amount of screentime and beat an H12 but more focus was given to Yukino since her and Sorano reunited. That's no problem at all but she could of use more shine. God Serena had an epic death but we don't even know his last 4 elements before he was killed off. Gildarts gave him another L too. Backstory we know of is real cool but needed to be more expanded upon to be greatness. Larcade probably just more soul reaping would of satisfied me. Zeref's curse in play when he killed him, it was understandable and ain't FT that murked him but still could of been better and was lowkey weak in a way (way better than what happened to August though, there's that). Hopefully they got a Hell Core's, means he can get an updated design too, that's if they make it back to Alvarez

I went with Rogue, Meldy and God Serena. Thinking of the character development that other got, I really think that these guys were underused. Meldy has great potential and Rogue and GS are Dragon Slayers. Even then they have been sidelined.

Juvia gets a major honorable mention because the only thing we saw from her was when she seppuku'd herself for Gray's sake. Otherwise I don't think we've seen her powers yet, and what made her a strong mage??? Correct me if I'm wrong, PLEASE. I hope at the very least, she's redeeded and we see her get development (meaning she's not all "GRAY" and does more) and fight a bit.

Mystogan is another one, and a disappointment as he was just Jellal from Edolas. To quote @c_k, "meh~" cuz I mean, he was touted as one of the strongest, along with Laxus and Gildarts. And instead, we got a Jellal twin.

Nope, my personal is it doesn't end in 2017. Dragon Cry is supposed to have a part that's tied into the main series, but the entirety of the movie isn't canon. FT obv ain't ending in 6 chapters which would be around May 6th to when Dragon Cry drops in theathers. I expect Winter 2017-Summer 2018 is a good point. But I think next year, or that's at least what I want

Well, it makes sense the manga ends after the movie but it lasting that long just doesn't add up at this point. Just look at the sheer escale this arc has so far. Zeref is being dealt with. Acknologia is being dealt with. The stake is an actual infinite source of magic, mavis. Along with zeref FT fought the armies of an entire continent. Among that army, the 12 springan are without a doubt the strongest enemies FT has fought, barring zeref and acknologia. Even among the springan was a dragon and august, a guy so powerful that mashima had to make him kill himself for the plot's convenience. And we have seen several FT members defeat springan on their own. Several FT members did win with help but not all of them which places those guys at the top of the magic world. As far as we have seen natsu, grey , laxus and gajeel basically soloed springan (jacob, invel, wal, bloodman respectively). Then we have erza beating two with help, sting defeating lacarde with help, geralt defeating nienhart and a few other people with more or less comparable feats.

Basically, this is it for human fighters. We have seen the top. And we have to consider the entire manga has revolved around zeref and acknologia. Every arc has built on either of them in some manner. And both of them are probably gone after this arc. So... does mashima just pull a new, more powerfule enemy out of nowhere? Even if he does it can't be human enemies at this point. It would be a repeat of the avatar guys...

Now, if the manga is to continue after this I can see two scenarios though both would be absolutely terrible. Basically either zeref or acknologia survive for one last fight.

Acknologia would be terrible because it would be that guy alone vs the world. And while acknologia would have the upper hand, it does not make for the most interesting battle. He wouldn't even have cronies to help him out.

Then zeref... He would find and he could get cronies even strongest than the springan but that would still be terrible. With a defeated continent the only thing he could turn to is making more demons that surpass the springans. Which is likely completely doable considering two springan were demons from the book but it would make for an awful ending of the manga. I mean, some of the springan already had unsatisfactory defeats (august and irene were defeated in awful and lazy manners). And on top of that we would have zeref easily replacing them.

Well Golden Week is in 4 weeks since Golden Week starts on April 29th which is a Saturday and the rest of Golden Week is on May 3th, May 4th, and May 5th. May 3th is on a Wednesday so there will be a break the week the movie comes out.

Yeah I agree on basically all of this. Endgame villains have always should of been Zeref and Acnologia. It's been theorized Ankhseram could play a role but Hiro said in the France interview last summer he wasn't gonna play him in the story, but things change, he admitted he recently can make stuff up so it's still possible. No one should want new villains, that's really unlikely. I think the most we can see the story go now is if this mystery woman and ichiya can at least lock Acnologia in the place they can defeat them for a period of time, Zeref able to capture and extract Fairy Heart from Mavis, the battle could be decided in Alvarez. I do want FT to last until 600 chapters but as of now don't see it happening unless what I said happens some way.

I feel like a lot if fans just want more Fairy Tail. The expense of quality doesn't matter to some but I feel like this is the endgame fast approaching here. I just don't see why Hiro would jump in to another arc after an endgame buildup like this. We may get 10 or 20 chspters for the final fight to happen, and another 3 or 4 for the epilogue.

Man.. i'll be missing this shit when it ends, for real..
People can complain all they want, some even are right to with all the wasted potential, but most of it is bs hating. I still like my weekly dose of FT, even it isn't one of my all time favorite, it still be one i had fun with. (and madness xD)
The discussions in the FT fanbase have always been fun and dealing with the hardcore shippers and haters, too. lol

Seeing them hating on Natsu and calling him the worst MC, while praising other shounen leads for the same stuff they hate about him was golden comedy.
Luffy screams like an idiot, jumps infront of the villain who should be able to rekt him, gets his ass beaten, saved by the arc nakamas, runs 10 chapters for the second encounter, pulls out ultimate shounen attack, finally beats the villain= yay, best mc!!!
Natsu does it = worst mc, always the same shit!!!!

If you acutally wanna see some crappy shounen leads who deserve that title and stay the same till the last chapter, just to throw away that ittle development they got in the last arc and turn into the person they been in chapter 1, read Shaman King and Katekyo. You will be thankful even for the worst parts of FT! lol


FT was and is still the same since the beginning and it never tried to be something else. A light-hearted Manga that is about bonds, family and friendship. Sure, i would have loved to see more of what made me get into FT, which is the Guild vs Guild stuff. I really hoped to see some dope tournaments like we've got in YYH, but it didn't happen. Even with it's faults, simple characters/story and some different things i would have liked to see, it still was entertaining for me and good enough to follow.
