For the poll, I picked:

In my opinion, the most unique aspect about Fairy Tail would be the characters involved. Many of them were written really well at the beginning with cool backstories. This goes for both the main characters and side characters.


Character designs have also been one of the most appreciated qualities of Fairy Tail. Personally, I think Gray's design was the best out of all the males, especially his DeS transformation. For the females, Mira still tops the charts for me. Her younger badass form was cool, her current design is practically flawless, and her demon transformation are always appealing to the eyes.


As for the epic entrances, lines, and badass moments... I have no doubt that Gray has it the best out of all the characters. In fact, most of my favorite strategies, dialogue, and attitudes took place during Gray's spotlights or moments.


For the plot, I still read fanfictions... so I'm cool.

I'm going to guess those projects are going to be spinoffs, art on Mashima's twitter, and the new anime. Speaking of spinoffs does anyone have any ideas of want spinoffs they want to see next?

The next generation going on a quest consisting of the off spring of team natsu. Then later competing in the s class exams and it's actually not interrupted.

Yeah Natsu, Lucy, and Happy going on an adventure to find the Aquarius's Key is something I want to see and I think what Natsu wanted to do after the war is going on an adventure with Lucy again. Other spinoffs I want to see is the events from 400 years ago, Natsu and Happy's journey during the one year time skip, what Erza with Jellal and the rest of the Crime Sorciere were doing during the one year time skip, Wendy/Carla/Chelia hanging out during the one year time skip and few spinoffs showing what certain characters are doing after the war.

If there is going to be a spin-off for FT, I wouldn't mind seeing something along the lines of Gildartz's past and childhood.

I was always interested in how Gildartz learned Crash Magic and the backstory to his life before Fairy Tail. I'm also curious as to whether or not he ever had a Master who trained him (and the identity of the Master, if he had one).

Seeing how Gildartz evolved to become FT's strongest mage would make quite an interesting spin-off in my opinion.

I wouldn't mind to get a little bit more information about his relationship with Cornelia and the birth of Cana Alberona, either.



And if we're really stretching it, then I would be intrigued to get a Fairy Tail Zombie AU (Alternate Universe) spin-off.

Always wanted to see what it would be like for FT if they were thrown in a post-apocalyptic setting with no magic and had to survive with only ordinary weapons or guns.

Believe it or not, I've read some pretty good fanfictions about those types of situations. They can be pretty hilarious at times too if an FT character makes a mistake or blunders while trying to escape/fight off the living dead.

I doubt this will happen, but a Spriggan spin-off would be pretty interesting.

In my opinion, a big problem with the Spriggans is that we only really got an in-depth look at 5 of them (Brandish, DiMaria, Irene, August and Larcade). Apart from those 5, we never really found out anything significant about the other Spriggans.

God Serena apparently defected so that he could hunt down Acnologia, but Hiro could have made him 10x more interesting had he shown what each Spriggan's opinion of him was. Would they be suspicious of him? Would they look down on him? Did he even meet those not at the meeting? And how did he get 8 Dragon Slayer lacrimas? What did Irene think about this, would she be happy that a "child" of her's is on her side, or would she avoid him due to memories of the past?

Another example would be Bradman, the dude is walking amalgamation of Tartaros, only he has his own unique set of curses too. So the big two questions about him would be whether he was even made by Zeref, and if he was, was he made before the 9DG + Mard or after? Other than this, my other queries about him include whether the Underworld is actually a place or not. At first, I thought Bradman mentioning the Underworld was just a cool line, but Invel flat out states that he got his ice that makes his Kamui "from the depths of the Underworld". Now Invel doesn't really have a reason to mention the Underworld like Bradman does, so it wouldn't be too outlandish for it to actually be a place. Perhaps, if he actually wasn't made by Zeref, Bradman resided there before joining the 12.

Even if a Spriggan spin-off wouldn't answer these questions, it would still be nice to see how they interact with the other Spriggans on a day to day basis. The spin-off could even just be 12 chapters long with the focus swapping between each Spriggan, possibly revealing some of their pasts like how they came to join the ranks of the Spriggans and who they get along with the best.

Also I would like to see a spinoff about Natsu/Happy's journey and some spinoffs about what certain characters are doing after the war like Lucy/Natsu/Happy searching for Aquarius's key and other characters who have hinted their be doing something after the war since the characters who were planning to do something after the war was mentioned it in volumes 53 and 55.

I know right. We would also find who was the dragon that killed Natsu and his parents, more about Anna's past 400 years, more about Natsu/Zeref past/childhood, and we would see how Mard Geer meet the CSK.

There are so many things that could be told. I would love a short Gaiden style manga that focused on the past. Another Fairy Tail: Zero really.

Yeah, "nakama power" has gotten increasingly absurd -- I agree. Yet I think a lot of you have to stop and ask: "how old am I?"

As far as I'm concerned, if you're 15+? You already know this is silly. Yet if you're 20+ and "nakama power" irritates you so much that you can't control your britches? I think it's time to acknowledge that maybe you've aged out of the genre of shonen.

This isn't NEW. One Piece has nakama power, Dragonball has nakama power, BLEACH had it, Naruto DEFINITELY had it -- am I the only one paying attention? Fairy Tail may have pushed the envelope a bit further but wow. I wonder if others are realizing the cognitive dissonance here.

Despite the fan service -- of which there's a lot -- the target audience for this would be the youth. It's trying to communicate to children that they should value the bonds they create with friends and family. Believe it or not, you're stronger and more efficient when you have people supporting you. Team work is really a thing that children have to LEARN and EXPERIENCE.

So, put it in perspective man. I've read Fairy Tail for years and I've learned to take it for what it is. I don't go to McDonalds for healthy food and I don't go to Fairy Tail for a deep, compelling narrative.

When I pass that? I think some have not realized that Irene Gano that battle, Erza could only hurt her with the sword loaded with DS magic, but other than that I do not win, because Irene was still on Foot and Erza was defeated.

A half dead Wendy enchanting the DS magic into Erza's sword was bs in the first place. Irene still winning doesn't take away from that.

Why is it strange that a meteor could break if already in the Saga of Edoras had destroyed a Floating Island? Why do people still underestimate Erza's strength?

It was bs fam. How does Erza go from borderline losing to Ajeel to destroying one of Irene's strongest attacks when almost all the bones in her body were broken? You don't have to hate it but you can't deny that it was bs.

Laxus spent a year training. How strange is it to show a new power?

It's not the fact that he has it that I'm upset about, it's the fact that it's "lightning that surpasses lightning". Do you not realize how stupid that is?

When I defeated Zeref it was because Lucy rewrote the Book and saved her life, but did not rise again.

Against Acno, unless they sealed the body of Acno, it would not have weakened and Natsu would not have been able to do anything with the power of the DS combined, what's more, you could say that what I win is the combination of all The wizards of the continent

Doesn't matter. Zeref had infinite power and he still lost to a powered up punch. Natsu having help means nothing.

Zerologia is immune to magic yet he gets defeated by it. If you don't see why that's bs then I can't help you.

Here I do not think it was his decision, we know that the Editorial gets into a lot when it comes to these issues, I think mashima was going to explain the same principle as in Rave, where he would kill many characters and eventually with some method he would revive them, As it was with Makarov, that he died, but was revived by Mavis and Zeref.
