I agree the first few chapters of EZ was interesting then it lost me
+ I'm still mad because Hiro rushed the final fights of Alvarez just so he can create EZ he said Alvarez was going to be the final arc ( Yet still didn't do it justice in the end ) just so he can make EZ

Lmao, Edens zero is not the reason why fairy tail became trash!!! Do you know that fairy tail should end in laxus arc right? He just extended it because it became popular. Unlike Ez , he planned the plot well and how will it end....

You should know that there is a difference between the resemblance of the drawing style, and the resemblance of the physical part (charadisign). In a world where you can have obese who move without worrying about their weight, it's not normal that there is so much similarity between the characters of different works.

And sorry but when you look at the 1st chapter of Fairy Tail you get the same atmosphere so no need to quote all the "deep" themes that Eden zero speaks vaguely during 1 chapter. It is not on the same level as the themes of discrimination / humiliation that the manga Naruto will develop in a very serious way to make his character evolve throughout the manga. The atmosphere of the 4 chapters of FT and Eden are a character who bites life in the face, we look at his dramatic life while bad guys not nice gene, and we solve the problem of bad guys on the tone of humor by making understand that friendship is beautiful.


The fan service have seen it for example in Lucy like's cat outfit (a chapter that heralds a moment of drama around the memory character). The humorous tone of the thing is that there is a lot of big mouth and white eyes, or eyes that come out of their sockets during the chapters with drama (typical drawing of manga gags). And as in the last pages of scan 4 of FT the Gray like appears in the enden zero one (it's not too much of a gray like but you understand) I barely read the 2 manga and I'm able to recognize the same characters and the same story writing. So I can't even imagine a guy who's a fan who knows both universes by heart. And it's not a question of taste, I didn't even give my opinion, I'm just quoting things you see when you read the manga.

well just already the fights, all the fights are too fast whereas it is about the final enemies and that is the biggest problem.

The gray / invel, neihart / natsu combat are not even combat, although it had potential.

All the other fights folded in 2 chapter except for eilleen.

Then for END, the thing teased for 3 arc, shown in the middle of the arc and then nothing we get rid of like that.

While it would have been logical to show it against zeref and acno as the final PU for natsu.

The fight against zeref and acno especially acno, too fast and for acno we have nothing at all.

Ft has always been too fast in itself, no real pause or transition, but avatar and Alvarez were the worst there, re-reading the other arcs, I don't or much less feel like it's fast.

The arc of the games and the dragon which is almost as long does not give this impression, or much less.

It may be 100 chapters but it's as if he had done 50 as it is fast.

It's the same problem with Aldron, a lot of fighting but too fast, suddenly it doesn't feel like the arc is that long, even though it's 10 chapters longer than the one in mecphobia.

at first, there would be 5 or 6 Spriggans but they decided to have 12.

4. August or Invel (August more but not making him related to Zeref and Mavis)
5. Irene (that backstory was quite good and her design was )

it would have been much better.

and Zeref fight wasn't rushed, more like it was incredibly bad decision to have that fight in the guild with Natsu and Zeref wasting panels of several chapters (a dozen or more iirc) throwing dumb magic punches.

you can a make an epic fight with 2 chapters or even 3 instead of wasting that.

Acnologia's fight wasn't rushed either tbh, more like that Rift of Time was way too conveniently pulled out of nowhere alongside Anna not to mention he was chasing a ship for quite a while.

I think when said rushed in this case it's more so events were resolved rather quickly, while pages were wasted (Ship chase, Punch out with Zeref).

he had time but he used it in a bad, meaningless way.

it was a bad creative decision IMO.

luckily for us, we got a sequel almost two years later (weren't even two years) after the main one ended

That can't be said for other mangas.
