Who will animate YQ100 ???? A1 panel ended and they did not present anything from Fairy Tail, not even among the series that they have animated. Neither did Aniplex, Mappa, wit, etc.

For now only ufotable or kyoani are missing (unless they are Bridge and Satelight)

The problem is not that it doesn't sell, the problem is that it doesn't receive any marketing.

This sequel hasn't been promoted at all, it's unbelievable how many people were casual readers, and now don't know that FT is still going.

Even series like Nagatoro or Kawaii dake receive more attention from kodansha. YQ100 must return to the main magazine soon, maybe with the end of EZ, FT will return

Because the main reason why FT left, is because EZ was in the main magazine, now EZ is ending and there is no reason for FT to stay in Magazine pocket. Also, initially kodansha was going to start the series without Mashima. If Mashima doesn't want to take it, then find someone else. Although I don't think Mashima will stay with a biweekly series and a monthly one, he will surely get bored

The drawings and designs look nice but it's kinda hilarious that Mashima cannot avoid making female characters to save his life (he said he was trying to do less female characters in this manga but seems like half of the support cast are girls).
Edit: not that I'm complaining.

To be fair to Mashima (I guess) we don't know if either of those 2 animals are girls.

If both end up being guys, that would then mean that the main cast has 5 guys and 2 girls (and it would be 4 guys and 3 girls if one is a girl), compared to team Natsu that has 3 guys and 4 girls, or the Edens zero cast with 4 guys and like, 8 or so girls

It would still be far from the dude filled manga he promised and the animals don't have the same weight as "human" characters.
But although I find it funny it isn't even a bad thing, he might not feel as confident with female characters but he does write them way better and with more relevance than a lot of other shonen mangas even if counting the fanservice as a detractor.
