None of you use IRC? Years ago on another server, we had a game like this, but instead of mafia, we had werewolf. I've been werewolf at least five times, and out of those times, I've gotten caught like, once or twice because I knew how to bullshit, whether it was denying me being werewolf, putting the blame on others, or pretending to be obvious that people would think that no one is dumb enough to stick out like that. It was quite easy fooling the people.

Good times. This takes ages compared to IRC version.

What an interesting way to make it look like I'm suspecting you only because of some silly revenge. Sorry to disappoint you, but I totally forgot about that until you just mentioned it.

What I want you to say is quite easy: Discuss matters and suspects with the others, you were online for most of the day and still you didn't participate in a single discussion. All you ever commented about was some meaningless stuff like the lovers role or the state of the game.
That stuff about always being suspicious of guys like Imp or Gary is just a lame mafia excuse. I know it, because I've been mafia often enough and I know it's pretty tiring to come up with a plausible theory for who is mafia when you know that actually you're the mafia guy. 

And I believe this is not your first time playing this game? Have you ever seen DD end a day early if not everyone made their vote? As far as I recall he always waited until everyone made a decision or until the time ran out. Saying you feared the game would end early is just another silly excuse to make a random vote.

Okay, I know I won't change my opinion. Frosty's answer made him even more suspicious so votekill Frostymouse

 

So, it looks like this is the end of the argument. Regardless of the roles, by an objective evaluation, niichan won it.
This makes the things a bit easier. At best case, a mafia is lynched. At worst, a townie with lesser observation skills demonstrated is lost and a strong mafia lives on. We won't be getting niichan even if he's a mafia in this turn, anyway. Faust and Xadyu are discussed mostly, but Faust's earlier excitement was justified by the theme of the game to a degree, while Xadyu's case is less proven than Frosty to go after him. In the end, I don't think Faust is a Mafia and we will probably be getting the head of a townie if we let niichan's proposed clue go. So, in the end, I'd say, following niichan's lead for now gives us the best result according to the game theory, since we have little chance to take down a mafia with other suspicions being mostly vague or just biased.

That's not a confirmation of niichan's side, though. But he played an impressive gambit and things aren't looking any better if we refuse.

I will be more active from now on, but honestly at this point of the game i don't really know what to say or to vote for. Anyway, i am gonna vote kill BBB, because Nero pisses me off.

Interesting theory about Faust being mafia actually...I seen him in 2 games and he was barely active posting random OP(fml)  gifs instead of any concrete ideas. But now he kind of said something that could be put  into the senseful category and obvi dissapeared. Imo there is a good chance he could be mafio, atleast better chances than anyone here. Lawl is also a bit too jumpy imo. But he wouldn't play like that if he was mafia, he usually doesn't, or maybe he is using reverse psycology on me now... A game with that many players is not easy. I cannot decide whether it makes most sense to go after the active player, who talk a lot (Mej, Faust, Haku, xi0), the discreetly active, who make a constant appearance but don't contribute much (niichan, Imp, Midoban, Xadyu and Moa) or the rather very passive rest.

However, I will make some vote to get something started now. VOTEKILL FARFALLA

It not because of her saying she would be busy during the beginning period, except on weekends (if I remember correctly), it the unwillingness to read all posts, and limiting herself to those which received some thanks. This I thought is something really odd, especially for Farfalla. I can see her having a mafia role this time and that being the reason.

As for Imp, his playing style reminds me a lot of when he was the Serial Killer. I am having an eye on him, he could very well have the Mentor role, but I will not vote him out yet, before having something more to go by.

 

In other games you also had an important role (bomb and doctor) your reaction to the vote was not the same ... was more random and you did not care much for explaining things.
Let's look at the explanations

1) For what mafia would draw attention? So there is a chance of it being more Bomb than a Mafia and you still voted for him

2) Even though it may have a role you feel unsafe? A noob can be influenced by mafias, like the townies. He still has a chance to protect the city

3) Okay, in that I agree.

Usually on Day 1 I go with the reasoning "vote for whoever will be the biggest liability whether they're mafia or not", unless there's someone really suspicious of course. A lot members are playing safe here and the only two that are somewhat suspicious are only Imp and Faust.
Faust voting for someone simply due to the fact that m3j did not have an avatar and imp being annoyed by him.
Could this be an elaborate scheme by the mafia? 

At this point - those two are the only ones that I am suspicious. 
I'm a bit suprised that imp would loose his cool and vote for someone like that.

I was facing the same problem.  I probably won't be back online for like 16 hours and as the game began 22 hours ago, I should make it under the 48 hour cap that DD originally gave us, as that only only be 38 hours, but if by chance DD ends it early, I'd be left without having made a vote, which sort of forces me to vote now.  I can always change it later.

It's perhaps not the best vote I've ever made in the Mafia Game, but my reasoning is that Faust was oddly active with spam and posts about DN lore.  It seemed out of character for him and he seemed overly excited.  There's a chance that he's a Mafia member, you never know, but it would be a role that he could be more excited with.

Werewolf and Mafia are different though. In Werewolf, there were three basic roles, as far as I recall. Detective, werewolf, and townies. I assumed it'd be the same for Mafia. But no, there's at least 12 roles. -_-

The townies had decided to kill the most suspicious townie, watari! It was L, watari's long time friend that cast the final vote. knowing the jig was up watari took out his death note and started furiously writing a name, he was shot before he could finish....

The townies analysis proved to be highly accurate, watari was kira!!

Mentor​

Watari wasn't the only victim, Wedy could not take the carnage and decided to kill herself, the townies later found out she was a mafia member that renounced her death note, forgetting her memory and blending in perfectly, she would wait til her mafia pals would recruit her...they never got the chance.

Hm, so, unless someone used his ability randomly, that person was pressured by Gary's presence. Could be someone Gary openly mentioned suspecting, then.

DOing great so far! God damnit sickly townie you should always sicken Evil.Its like a must! Anyway so now that we got rid off the mentor and while iw as waiting for night to end I was looking some previous games and the current posts and found something that could be a legit reason for a suspicion.kdowns is playing once again very cautiously and barely making any posts trying to stay from the radar bla bla bla... I know this might not be the reason enough for you guys, but seeing as how I dont have any other leads I think I will go ahead and vote for Kdowns

Also wtf mafia forgot to pm? Seeing as how noone got killed? Or doctors did their jobs properly....

it would be too obvious though. I am more inclined to think its a random ability use of a person who knows that xi0 can be very dangerous in some instances

No one died?! Wow, omg. Let's see what we have then.

1) Doctor targeting the same person as the Mafia.
2) Prostitute tartgeting the exectuting Mafia.
3) Mafia has a Poisoner in the team.

Personally I believe the third option is the most likely one, as it requires a lot of luck for the prostitute to hit the target on the nail on night 1, and one of the doctors to save the same person the mafia is targeting (and not killing it - we remember most doctors first test their ability on someone random to varify their sanity).
