Bucky is definitely better, but Jason Todd is the DC equivilent of meh to me...wow I'm the second and worse Robin and now I'm mad at the world cause I'm such a rebel...totally lame in my opinion.

I agree with your assessment on X-men though. Don't you wish Iceman would just full potential and waste everyone...How is it possible to beat him anyways?

Finally, anyone read Titans 51? I found it lackluster...hopefully it gets better

Yes GOD, in Marvel heroes grow older, and young heroes grow into their potential. Squirrel Girl defeats Dr. Doom. In X-men people that are elite stay elite and everyone else kind of stays mediocre, UNLESS it's against some meaningless new enemy. Magneto, Apocalypse, Xavier etc have all the control and power, and people like Iceman, Kitty, Nightcrawler, Madrox, Mercury etc, that should grow into people as worthy as the Magnetos and Xaviers simply don't. They just randomly stop the Hulk when no one else can or some other asinine accomplishment like that.

While I can't wait for Messiah, I just can't help but feel slightly dissapointe that the lead role goes to Scooter. But hey, maybe this will redeem him in my eyes?

^Kinda why I stopped Astonishing (well, will continue it once it's over). I'm tired of trying to figure out when Astonishing takes place.

Currently, in ll the X-titles, Scottie-dear is alive *poo*. Plus he's going to be the main character in the Mesiah Complex, leading all the X Men (one might think he's the mesiah himself, which...is atually how it seems to be broadcasted, but anywho).

I'm confused by what you mean by Eight Day comic? Though Iron Man 22 came out last week (Marvel states it's out this week, so I'm slightly confuzzled), so you can check last week's files. I can't dld from RS so I can't view it Sorry >w<

I posted the file for the Thor Comic. It is supposedly a part of "The Eight Day part 1 of 4" saga. This has to have happened before Ragnarok, so it couldn't be current Iron Man, it has to be an earlier version..

BTW, it's Iron Man v3. The current Iron Man series is the fourth volume.

And messed-up Marvel continuity is part of the reason why I actually prefer DC now (which ironically enough used to be much worse than Marvel on that front.)

Out of curiosity has anyone heard anything about the new Halo: Uprising comic that's supposed to be coming out by Marvel? I know I'm going to buy em but I'd like to know others opinions on if it's any good or not (and I would imagine if you don't like Halo you wouldn't like the comic....)

The sonic the hedgehog comic makes me question how good any comic based on a video game could be....

That said I do proudly own the Super Sonic vs. Hyper Knuckles issue haha...

That may be true, and is a large part why I'm asking about it before I go out and buy it. With that said though, the "Graphic Novel" of Halo was actually very well done, so I do have hope that this will be good too.

I've always been a fan of sonic, and for that matter MArvel comics in general.
Would you happen to know of a good online source i could grab the sonic comics ? he's definitely one of my favourite cartoon characters in the universe.

On top of that, would anyone know of a good source to read online/download Marvel comics ? ^^ thanks !

The only real place to read it online was taken down about 2 months ago... no one really knows why. Probably Marvel got to them and forced msn groups to close them down.

Another good place to find specific comics on the web is rapidsearch

But it can be a hassle if you want to read a whole volume or such....

AHHAHAHA. I am so glad I read Frontlines. Just fr that particular '10 reasons to hate Sally Floyd' one-shot at the end of the issue. OH LOL.

Go read it now. Number one killed me so badly. XD

I really hope this is the last Frontline style comic series they do.. I agree the 10 reasons was hilarious ^^

Runaways was interesting, I wonder what Chase is going to do..

Fantastic Four is back to being confusing as heck, and not worth reading (if the writing is so freaking complicated the artist can't draw it, and the narrator has to state "and this happened" don't freaking tell the story!)

Nova was ok.. the story has slowed down a lot

New Avengers was very awesome, The Hood is probably the first seriously badass not meant for pg-13 style character we've met. It's not just about guts and gore (like Black Adam/Hulk) It's about sadism, mysoginy, speciesism, prejudice, truly deep down evils that seperate cartoony evil, from true asshole.
But what is really cool is that

It looks like New Avengers all get taken over by Symbiotes and mess up Mighty Avengers!!!

To be honest, Stark has sound wave machines though, and I'm sure Ares could light himself on fire again and bearhug a symbiote to force it off of his opponents, so Symbiotes aren't really that serious of a threat anymore =/

I wasn't too happy with this week though, nothing overly satisfying.. and it took forever since I no longer have cable =( stupid dsl only country.

Last week was less satisfying though, but I agree there wasn't much this week either.

When you mean by Frontlines style, you mean the art? (not too fond of it) But yeah. The only reason I'm reading it is to get a grasp of what's happening in WWH (well, behind the scenes at least >.>). Plus my hathred for Sally still has not subsided since that thing with Cap, so it's slightly hard for me to enjoy it. XD

I agree. The Hood does rock. Dayum. That scene with all those baddies meeting up is just woah. The good guys are seriously screwed especially with the Initiative rules (love how this shows the bad side to it), and eheheheh.

As for the symbiotes:

I keep hearing stuff about this Symbiote invasion. And not only in the NA/MA storyline, but it extenxs to other parts of Marvel continuity as well. But from what I hear, it's only a short type of invasion-kinda thing.

Which is kinda cool, really. There's a thread in Newsarama dedicated to it, and stuff.

Runaways was indeed fun to read But I really wish for those two parents to get bashed in the head now. 8D
