I just got to 52

so im moving at a good pace but not sure if i will reach 118 today

anyway im still pulling for chitoge, she is so deredere now that she has accepted her own feelings

What did you think of Romeo and Juliet arc? It is certainly a watershed in the story. However, after this the story changed its pace, something I don't complain much, but it is criticized by many. Tell me what you're thinking of the pace.

Chitoge is always adorable, you will never regret rooting for her.

The r&j school festival arc was amazing, onodera proved to be as honorable and kind as ever, not a jealous bone in her body, she wanted to play juliet so bad yet was more happy that she didnt let the class down when she found out chitoge was gonna play juliet tk make for her,and the whole reason ono got hurt was she was saving someone else
personally i believe this kindness and self sacrificial behavior will be the fatal flaw for ono, meaning it will be the reason she does not wind up with raku in the end

she will bow out and accept that he loves some else

(Just my opinion XD ) nothing against team onodera

mari is trying too hard, i believe she is forcing the issue, which seems to be turning raku off

he said he likes her more when she is just being herself

Yes, it is kinda like that about Onodera, she has her positive characteristics and that kindness is that why Raku likes Onodera and vice versa. However, like the physics law says: opposites attract; Chitoge is not the opposite of Raku, she cares about everybody as much as him and Onodera, but Chitoge has characteristics that Onodera doesn't have and complete Raku very well. When they are together, there is more fun and cuteness to be seen.
In the end, Onodera will not accept, in reality, she will give up of her feelings. She is too weak to fight for her love.

Marika tries hard, if he were anyone else, he would fall in love for her, but she is not the type that Raku likes, it is obvious, he like Onodera, who is the complete opposite of Marika.

Chp 62 was awesome, raku proved how much chitoge means to him and chitoge let him sleep with his head in her lap, i dont think anyone could have given her a better xmas present than letting her visit her mom

X-mas arc was awesome, indeed, it is one of my favorites and I'm still waiting for Hana's back, not because she is as awesome as her daughter, but because she holds very interesting informations about the past that she didn't reveal that time.

I thank you for encouraging me to start reading the manga instead of waiting on the anime

this is one of the better romcom's ive came accross, mainly because the emphasis on actual romance while still keeping great comedy, and having such great romance and comedy with minimal echii is not easy to do

nisekoi is in a league of its own in that regard

Im on chap 70 right now,tsugumi is cuffed to raku

And she managed to get soaked and had to remove her shirt

quite the amusing chapter

What did you think of the promise that Onodera and Chitoge made? It will be tragic when they find out that they like the same person and the promise is impossible, it is even worse to Chitoge, who lied to Onodera.

yes it is the friendly rivalry paradigm

it is seen commonly in romcom's where opposing love rivals are actually close friends

sadly i do believe onodera's desire to make others happy, her tendency towards self sacrifice

is why she will be the "nice girl that finishes last" in the end...

which sucks because i REALLY REALLY like her as a character

The shuu's crush arc was some pretty powerful stuff

i must say that it added an unexpected yet awesome element to this manga, and i became a little bit more of a shuu fan after reading it

Shuu's arc make me realise what I already knew a bit, that Shuu fools around, but he is very mature. There will be another arc later when you will realise it as well.
Also, this arc was disappointing for those who root for Shuu X Ruri. XD

the amnesia arc, raku has said some hilarious things while afflicted with amnesia
it almost seems like hes falling for chitoge

This arc was very interesting because of its quota of mystery, and it made me think that Nisekoi is more complex than appears to be, which is good IMO. Although it is a romcom, a type of story that we don't expect complexity, a bit of mystery and the crescent amount of things to reveal lets the story much more interesting to follow, putting good characters and comedy aside.

I loved ch 91, chitoge was very deredere

she wanted her beansprout to remember her so badly!!!

I am still up in the air about the whole picture book thing

maybe chitoge isnt the one he promised to marry

a few people seem to have memories of back then that we need to hear from

including chitoges mom and marika

i am not putting too much weight into the eye color thing

People tends to set in stone that Chitoge is the one that he made the promise with, but I have a different opinion and I go ahead; no one said that the person he made the promise with is who he will end up. Chitoge isn't being the promised girl and have to fight for her love is way more interesting.

Chitoge is still the best girl for raku

but all lf the girls are so likeable, haru is just too cute.... shes like onodera with an attitude

right now there is a new girl at school, one of marika's friends from middle school

i love how they use that accent when they are talking to eachother

Indeed, Haru is Onodera v2, improved in all aspects, she's even younger, fits very well.
