This would've been so good in Wano. It connects the past, shapes the present, and may raise questions about Morias standing for the future. It would also give the SHs a perspective what happens when they actually fail without the possiblity of recovery... Maybe Oda felt it was a bit redundant since we got glimpses about Morias character here and there.

Oda had no need to bring up Moria’s background in the main Wano arc.

Now that Moria has escaped Pirate Island, however…

Using dead people as fuel for cooking it seems to be normal in Wano.. i remember Oden also did it with another deceased char..

Basically, as long as they have water, Den Den Mushi can survive for about three months without food. However, since communicating via thought waves uses a lot of energy, it's best to give them some leftovers after use.

Den den Mushi are like short wave radios i guess.. and yes a telepathy thing between them.. as for Imu's telepathy the contract by itself allow it... (i guess ) what's amaze me more than that .. is it being capable to teleport Anywhere in the world... but i guess someone need to be physically there to make the portal as Gunko did with Sommers and Killingham.. the portal cant magically appears by itself anywhere

Also it is interesting that Gks can be summoned they like it or Be ready for it or not.. Contracts are a sort of Slavery.. once they are done specially from the second to third Mark - You are absolutly FUCKED, totally submitted to Imu's will..

I belief his Range for Telepathy and Control is Worldwide...but to make it possible, he needs you to have s Pact/Contract with him..

First contract, the only thing it does it is force a control over you, Not even regen, inmortality, eternal youth... But you need to be very very close to him, for him to force his will to you...

From the Second to Third Mark, you are absolutly and 100% Utterly fucked... cause those are Strong enought for Worldwide control... and no.. a Sea King eating your arm wont help you.. the easy get away stops here..

Well, Imu does look like how Umi Bōzu are depicted in hapanese art, so I think there is a connection between Imu and the sea, though I guess Wadatsumi is already a sea monk. I also believe that Imu probably can control anyone from anywhere and see through their eyes, if they have the stronger contract. I do believe that some of the Strawhats will end up being controlled by him at some point and Luffy will have to use his fruit to the fullest to break them out of Imu's control. I imagine that is one of the fruits that can resist Imu's control.

Yeah, Imu is the most wizard-y character we have in One Piece, with all the transformations and contracts and stuff.

Moria is going to sail back to Wano soon. That likely might cross over with Cross Guild and is also gonna set-up some scenes with Momo and Yamato as well. Can’t wait!

Moria left Wano and only came back to try and save it from Kaido. Now Wano is safe, so he doesn’t really have a reason to go back. Cross Guild also currently doesn’t have a reason to go to Wano, since they don’t know Pluton is there.

Maybe Blackbeard attacks Wano, but Moria knows for a fact that he can’t do shit against Blackbeard, so he’d basically have to beg Mihawk to go save it for him.

Seeing the SBS about yamato... It looks like she will eventually give up this "I am oden" idiocy. Which is a fairly good development. I am kinda curious as to the circumstances under which she could rejoin the strawhats. I wouldn't expect her to be able to sail from wano. Maybe she has kaido's pirates do it? I feel like them being imprisoned at wano is something that needs further resolution specially because king as a lunarian could have something else to contribute to the plot. But maybe oda doesn't care about that.

I wasn't too sure about that. Luffy and the other strawhats were perfectly ok with her wanting to be or claiming to be oden. Momo and the scabbards were uncomfortable with it but seem to also just not say anything after yamato helped defeat kaido. So I have no idea of what oda is doing here.

Yamato is also easily the strongest person on the island, and could low dif all of them at the same time and take over if she wanted to, so maybe they are trying to stay on her good side.

She might not be quite Yonko level, but she’s stronger than anyone besides Yonko or Admirals.
