I feel only Luffy will surpass their bounties and as an extension, Roger's bounty as well.
As it stands, the Worst Generation (except Luffy and perhaps Blackbeard) are weaker in comparison to the OG Yonko. There's much room for improvement but I don't see the others reaching that level till the story concludes.

You bring an interesting point... If Yamato wants to be Oden, shouldn't she have trained with swords more??? I find the Kanabo cooler though. Besides, tehre's one genuine swordsmen in the crew...

Kaidou killed or spooked off literally anyone who could've trained Yamato with swords.

Ughhhhhh who cares at this point. Zoro coming from a special bloodline only detracts from his already flat, boring character trajectory. I just wish Oda wouldn't have thrown so much red meat into the waters of "Who is Zoro's Ancestor?!" because he made it so inconsistent even in the same arc of Wano. Onimaru and Kawamatsu not pointing out that Zoro is literally identical to Ushimaru was just the height of 'having your cake and eating it too' with convenient bloodline affiliations.

It's like Oda couldn't quite decide whether revealing Zoro having a legendary lineage would make the character better or worse to readers, so he just threw in some vague throwaway lines here and there about how similar he is and a little weirdly placed backstory about the connection between Shimotsuki village and Wano. I honestly don't care that much about Zoro's character either, so I'm totally fine if Oda leaves it even though it feels like a loose thread. If Oda couldn't fit it into the main story in this four year long arc, then I doubt it'll feel satisfactory to just slap it on at the end.

And it does feel a bit like "Zoro doesn't care for his ancestry, so why should we care?", you know?

I think Yamato's got enough Oden stuff going on. 2 Kanabos and we won't stop hearing "Oden style Nitoryu" or whatever that move was that he taught his vassals

BB has the dark fruit. Luffy has the sun god fruit. By title alone, they're basically opposites.

Pluton is basically igneous rock of a type, that contains traces of gold in them... seastones are perhaps from the same source and wano's old name was country of gold...

now the volcano flow that captured Kaido and Big Mom could have a deeper meaning, or if not, atleast be a sign of pluton being awakened or something...

The centerpiece of Wano(Flower Capital). The surrounding land was put there by the continent pullers to disguise it. The greatest continent puller died after saving and disguising the weapon.

Zoro was a great character pre-timeskip.

But special bloodline is a terrible trope, thankfully we did not had more of that in Wano. -_-

I for one am not a fan of the whole anti Zoro vs Sanji stuff. Oda made it a thing purposely. Even as much as in Chapter 1023, what does it show?
Sanji vs Queen
Zoro vs King
Hyougoro telling them not to interfere in their duel. Hyougoro who is the boss of the Yakuza telling people not to interfere in these two battles.
Who else had such a matter here?
Luffy telling Yamato (Yama-bro Whitebeard and Oden Brothers) not to interfere vs Kaido.
Meaning Oda depicted the seriousness of Luffy, Zoro and Sanji not having their battles interfered in. The monster Trio dynamic still remains.

But the other thing I was getting to why I said Chapter 1023.
What is the caption at the start? Zoro and Sanji standing shoulder to shoulder.
Indicating Oda is putting them on the same level.

Of course it may just be the translations because I see one that uses the name Zolo that doesn't have shoulder to shoulder. But one that uses the name Zoro does have shoulder to shoulder.
