I pretty much agree with everything you said but I don't think that it would be very logical fro 6/12 of the Spriggans to be high-tier especially assuming that August (arguably the strong Spriggan) is a part of that tier.

I Ranked Wahl Icht as High Tier because marin and Brandish seems to respect Wahl Icht and Ninehart has the Courage To Defy Zeref's Orders.

The main issue I see with this theory is that gildarts should not have been strong enough to be a springan 2 years ago. Right now it would perhaps not be the case but we have seen people of power equal or greater than what he had 2 years ago face springans and the situation is pretty bad. Ajir had the gang with makarov on the run. Erza was no match for the guy. Brandish is supposed to have power greater than makarovs... I don't see why zeref would want someone as measly as gildarts as one of his 12 fighters, gildarts would at best take a position similar to marin's. As he was 1 year ago at least.

He refused to be present at the meeting and he didn't want to help Di Maria and Wahl out on their mission. Whoever he is, his plans and thoughts must be different from the others. Maybe he didn't want to fight against Fairy Tail because he is in the guild himself.

I think that Wahl is a high tier Spriggan as well. With his Weakness Magic, he is in an advantage against everyone. And we know that Weakness Magic isn't the only thing he can do. We've only yet to see his true power.

I think that Invel isn't a high tier Spriggan to be honest. The reason why he is so close with Zeref is probably because Zeref trusts him better than the rest. I don't know what it is, but I can't see Invel being as strong as August or God Serena.

Gildarts is not a Spriggan.He didn't anything about LH Until Makarov Showed Him In The Year X791 While The Spriggan's attempted to Invade FT To get FH in The Year X781.

Put a blame on the 469 spoiler because now I am so hyped, so eager (lol sorry) to liven up this thread.

So, I have a confusion. I would be so grateful if you guys mind helping me to brainstorm this. I am not good at discussing ranking and its kind.

It is said that Ajeel has been 'defeated' by Erza (with some assistance). And then now we get three Gods of Ishgar and Jura can't even defeat God Serena, August, and Jacob Lessio. 4 vs 3. Is Ajeel as strong as them? Are they, Spriggan, all supposed to be equal?

• If not, can we assume that Ajeel is probably the weakest Spriggan member indeed?
• If so, can we assume that Erza can be considered as strong as Wizard Saint level? (but whoa, this statement is too far I think)

Ajeel is not the weakest Spriggan: people only say this because he lost to Erza. The first opponent to show up in an arc is generally not the weakest one. Given that there are 11 other Spriggans, chances are that at least one is weaker than him. Ajeel could be a mid-low tier Spriggan, and Serena a high tier Spriggan, but I doubt there will be a massive power gap between them.

BoS Erza was WS level. Current Erza is clearly about the same level as the Gods of Ishgar (~Hades/Mard Geer level).

I agree with you most of it. I'd only think that Wahl should be ranked as a high tier Spriggan. As for Bradman, he looks really dangerous. If I should judge him by his outer, I'd rank him as a high tier Spriggan as well. But I can't know, yet.

Brandish, Ajeel, and Dimaria are the average Spriggans.
Serena, Invel, and Wahl are above average.
Neinhart is approaching the top of the food chain. Bradman might share this rank.
August is apporaching Zeref's level.

Though honestly, August > Everyone is still the only thing I'm certain of.

Theory about Ur's husband:


As you guys can see Ur says that there are stronger mages than her on the western continent (Alvarez Empire lies in the western continent). Maybe Ur knew that her husband moved to the western continent?

So..my theory is about ''Invel the winter soldier'', he is the emperor's chief and staff. Can he be Ur's husband?

It is said that Ur's husband abandoned her after she gave birth to Ultear. Maybe Invel decided to move to the western continent and become a member of The Spriggan 12?

One more thing, I know that he looks young but still..there has to be a connection between Invel and Ur!!

I have a strong feeling about this theory.

I haven't tiered Spriggans yet but I think there will be less top tiers than low/mid tiers, basically because of a normal distribution. So say 7-9 low-mid tiers, 4-2 mid-high tiers, and August. Something like this....

Top: August
Medium: Shield x 4
Low: Shield x 7

So I've been thinking. Many the Spriggans feel like evil versions of team Fairy Tail

They have someone who has lived longer than any person on the team (Zeref/Makarov)

Both have a female who is basically a knight with magic
(Erza/Dimaria)

Both have a guy inchting for a fight
(Natsu/Ajeel)

Both have ice users
(Gray/Invel)

Both have Devilish fighters
(Mira/Bradman)

Both have old wise guy with moustache
(Makarov/August)

Both have a woman who is kinda last but will follow any order
(Cana/Brandish)

Can a is always drinking and most people who drink are lazy. But when the situation is forreal she will help. Example: During the Tartorus arc when she saved every body before the guild blew up

After Reading Chapter 470 I have a Feeling That God Serena is being Controlled by August.After Everytime August's Speech God Serena's Eyes Turned Black as if He is Controlling Him.When God Serena was about to go Overboard August Ordered Him To Stop He Stopped.I am Reminded of Vageta Babidi Situation by This.

Hmm, I think this is an interesting theory to be honest. Since God Serena was a Wizard Saint it could be that he was forced to join the Spriggans. But I don't think it is that way. There is something about God Serena we don't know, but I don't think that August controls him.
