In Proof 1, she's not displaying any sort of arrogance, rather she's displaying the attitude of someone that knows she is facing someone greater than her, but she has a plan. She didn't boast, she didn't act like she was superior, just that she was willing to face off with him. She most likely knew she would be casting Universe One, so all she had to do was stall him for a few mins and cast the spell. Arrogance would be if she actually wanted to face Acnologia head on and defeat him, but she didn't want that.
In Proof 2 &3, refer back to the above. She doesn't plan on taking him on, she never did. Her plan was meet Acnologia, stall a bit, cast Universe One, buy Zeref time to get FH. She doesn't believe herself to be able to defeat him or challenge him, she knows that she has to remove Acno from the battlefield somehow, or it's over because he'd just wreck everyone.
How can she think Zeref>Acnologia, when a few panels later she admitted that
Zeref himself was still inferior to Acnologia? It would be stupid of her to think she's worthy of Acno, when she knows Zeref (who taught her) is still inferior.
Proof 4: Read what Acno said, he asks "Are you saying the Warlock
could surpass me". Keyword is could, as in a future possibility. So yes Zeref is assembling an army and getting FH to have the possibility of surpassing Acnologia, and Irene thinks this COULD happen IF he gets his hand on FH.
She didn't say "certainly", she said "it's possible", not right now, but after Zeref has acquired FH, is that really such a delusional or arrogant thing to say?

Yeah you're right that August wouldn't say those things, because August wouldn't face Acnologia alone to begin with, because August is the kind of person who sticks to the plan 100% and is blindly loyal. Irene on the other hand is a bit of a rebel, she will deviate from the plan if she thinks it will still achieve the same objective. She felt Zeref was not being serious, so she went off plan to make him serious. Is Irene wrong for going against Zeref's plans? Probably, but at the same time she got him to his objective faster.
So it depends on who you think is better. Someone who 100% follows orders, or someone who disobeys orders a bit, but still wants to achieve the main goal.

If you read the Crunchyroll translation, you'd see that Acnologia due to the fact that he was amazed at the nature of the magic she just used, asked "who are you?". That's why she said her name, I don't think she just thought, oh yeah I'd tell him my name just because lollzzzzzzz, he actually asked

I understand your posts, but you haven't provided evidence for anything you said tbh, you seemed to be interpreting her words differently, which I guess comes from the fact that you dislike her.

And yes she's a bad guy, so at some point she will be defeated and eat her words like every other member of the 12, like every other bad guy, and yes even Acnologia, by the time the series is over.
