I wouldn't like it if Neinhart turns out to be Gildarts.. I hope that Gildarts will fight along side Fairy Tail. It's been a while now since we've seen him in action.

Have we ever seen him in Action? Imo the Bluenote fight was rather short... but I really wanna see Gildartz going full out.

I dont have any idea how to rank the spriggans. August should be in the top 3 I guess and the other spriggans who didnt attend the meeting are probably stronger too.

About Ajeel, I think his sand world technique was very impressive, but the fact that Laxus had the potential to destroy him with one shot makes me think that he is maybe even the weakest.

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if Gildarts doesn't show up this whole arc but does before EoS to have another silent ch.

What would be really cool is if Gildarts had a silent ch where he beat a Spriggan. For me when it comes to Gildarts the moments have to be badass/cool, and leave the emotions/nakama stuff to the younger generation that he is more of a legend to.

Just wanted to ask why you ranked the Spriggans as you did, I'm not disagreeing because most predictions at this point are merely predictions.

Well August is the strongest and Ajeel is the weakest.

I put Neinhart second cuz Makarov said he was strong and in the recent chapter, he was just sitting on the ship.

Then Bloodman next cuz Makarov also said he is strong and is close to Neinhart. But we know Bloodman is the God of Death as he has already shown himself.

Brandish next cuz she has hax magic and usually the ones that hate fighting are good at it.

God Serena is next cuz he is Ishgar's strongest Mage. I believe that he is about halfway or mid tier Spriggan.

Jacob next cuz he looks similar to God Serena and is fighting alongside him against Ten Wizard Saints. But he looks a lot less durable.

Then Inbel cuz he looks mid tier and is Zeref's right hand man.

Then Wahl cuz he looks strong right now but technically lost his "first battle" with his clone. He is probably mid tier for a Spriggan.

Then DiMaria cuz she is similar to Ajeel and we see her already fight Kagura in the spoilers. She is probably low-mid tier Spriggan.

I mostly agree with what you said, other than the fact that you ranked Dimaria and Ajeel as 'low-tier'. Firstly, you ranked Dimaria low because she seemed similar to Ajeel, but how is Ajeel ranked so low? He could turn out to be, but at the current moment he doesn't strike me as that weak.

1) He put Erza on death's door, something that isn't a very easy thing to accomplish.

2) He had Team Nastu on the run and without Laxus' help they may not have got out of there.

Although I do want you to know I understand why you did so because he does some what mirror Jackal from Tartarus (stupid, arrogant and potentially the weakest of his kind).

Well even though this is a rank thread it's really a guess thread, outside August.

You make 2 points that are correct (though Team Natsu were running themselves, and Makarov was getting in the road). Those points allude to how strong Ajeel is, to do those things he has to be powerful. But in the context of a Spriggan's power level it doesn't mean much. To outclass Erza is a great display of power, but what does that mean when you're comparing to 11 extraordinarily powerful wizards?

I think Ajeel didn't live up to the hype people were expecting of a Spriggan. Or, and this is probably more accurate of how I feel, Ajeel's fight was not as spectacular mainly because he was cocky, to some degree the distractions/Jupiter weren't as awesome as say taking on Erza and someone else strong at the same time, and that the fight was in the sky where Ajeel doesn't have the ability to cast some of his spells like he would on the ground. These points are not discrediting Ajeel's power, just a comment on how the events that transpired can 'de-hype' someone. There will be Spriggans who get better treatment with how the fight is choreographed, and I can bet that even if they are Ajeel level they will be perceived mostly as above Ajeel.
