Larcade vs natsu and wendy

Wendy is an odd pick. Any particular reasoning behind it. I'm guessing she could buff Natsu's attack and defense at least so that might help after all. Though that soul magic larcade is using. Then again Natsu had resisted magic of that kind back in Tartaros too

Well, to be fair, that was curse power rather than magic. But as for Lucy, sure maybe her spirits could give her some type of immunity to time sealing but what is she going to do when Dimaria uses God Takeover?

Curse power or not it was still a soul ability and Natsu resisted it quite well. I don't see why it wouldn't work with Larcade too

I can see why. First, Larcade is not someone at the same level as the demon of Tartaros. Second, we don't yet know the exact nature of Larcade's magic. In other words, for all we know, we could be comparing apples to oranges.

We'll see, Natsu was never really all that affected by mind altering abilities so he's not gonna be orgasming his soul to heaven like those two nobodies to begin with

To be fair, Larcade has been hyped up to be on the same level as / near to August and Irene and I don't believe Natsu can defeat an opponent of that level at all. Plus like stevens41 said, Larcade's magic could be something else as well.

I actually hope Larcade doesn't fight Natsu. Or if they do fight, neither of them is defeated.

I'd prefer Larcade to assist in defeating Acnologia. I think Acnologia will kill Larcade, just after Larcade nerfs Acno. Then Natsu and the other 4 DS fight a nerfed Acnologia.

I think Lucy will fight DiMaria for a little bit, until Brandish steps in. Then Lucy will have to get involved in another fight, I'm not sure who though. Team Natsu vs August and Irene?

Do you guys think there is any chance August and Neinhart's surname will be revealed? Invel was introduced as just "Invel" and later he got surname "Yura" (Bradman also doesn't have surname though, but I guess it's like his fellow etherious demons, they don't have surname).

Also do you think Invel is good at CQC? He looks like he is not really good at CQC to me..

Neinhart needs to remember his surname first

August should have a surname, but I do like him just being August. There's been a few August = Jellal's dad/grandad so maybe it's August Fernandes. Or maybe he is really Brandish' grandad and he's August mu. It could be August Vandalay Kotobuki.

He's probably as good as Jacob, and as durable.

Yes August been Ichiya father makes zero sense that's why it makes perfect sense And I also saw these theories about August been Jellal father and so on

As I said in discussion thread these whole connections and ties of Spriggans to FT and how some things pump up out of nowhere...
For me bigger plot twist and more interesting would be if August and Invel, for example, are not connected anyhow to FT or they allies ( it reach that point ) I want to remember them thanks to they fights and they actions not because they connections Of course August Fernandes will get some fans just like Larcade get so many fans just because of who he is not what has done so far

Neinhart needs to remember his surname first

Neinhart and latest chapter I can see two things happen to Neinhart, without doubt, he knows about connection between Erza and Irene that's why he was so surprised about Irene order :

- Irene use her magic to erase any hesitation inside of Neinhart and use her enhance and apply her magic inside of him to increase his psychical attributes

-Neinhart had some type of seal that was placed on him to keep him under control and Irene breaks it ... In past, in this setup, i can see Neinhart ( reference to his name :P ) as a bloodthirsty knight that was wandering around and killing anyone he jumps into << now that sounds like fanfiction

I don't expect much from Neinhart so I might get nice surprise

True be told I don't see a reason for Invel to be a monster in close distance it would be nice addition nevertheless
Shame that even if Invel will give Gray a good fight but he doesn't show cracking something with his fists or big AOE that achieve nothing people will rank him low or say he is nothing special

Calling it now.August Fernandes and Neinhart Marvell.I think these two surnames can be suitable.If not Neinhart is some creation of Irene

compared to enemies in the past we rarely got last or surnames, guess it goes to show you Hiro wants go more in depth with the 12s, or that they're just more relevant than any enemy FT has faced. I think it's a little of both. I mean they are the 12 so I think it's plausible. It's pretty cool. August will be just one of those people who's first name says it all, so yeah I'm not expecting one. Neinhart maybe but other from that everyone does have a last name

on Invel, yeah I deff think he'll have close combat, how else will he be able to fight Gray if he can't hurt him with his ice when he goes IDSM

Lacarde does seem to be stronger than some of the Spriggan,but I doubt he could reach the August/Irene tier.
Brandish already confirmed that those 2 are top tier ,while Mavis's comment was more about the quality of his magic.

I choose August because I found him to be the most refreshing. He isn't some cliched antagonist that wants to beat people up or take over the world. He's reliable,relateable even if he's on the enemy side, he shows that he has a good caring nature, and wants to protect his comrades, he seems peaceful but only gets violent when the time is needed. He's badass, most powerful spriggan, and generally is wise, knowledge and likeable. Having more knowledge to magic compared to Zeref is quite impressive. What I like is that he did nothing to Brandish, even when she stabbed her, because he trusted her and knew that it wasn't her doing. You know you trust someone without even questioning them despite what they did to you, and August was smart enough to know it wasn't her actual doing and that she was manipulated... and we know full well why Brandish respects him a lot calling him Gramps.

The way he told off Eileen and made her obey him was savage.

He's the leader of the spriggans, and he's the one character I hope doesn't get trolled out of all the spriggans.

Honorable mentions to Wahl and Invel.

Bradman could've been my favourite based on his character design, but he was a massive disappointment.

Yeah August is the reason why I love this arc. It makes me hype everytime I see him and his introductions are epic. Bradman, Jacob, and God Serena was a huge disappointment. We wanted to see more action from God Serena but no. Jacob is a worthless and totally not the strongest assassin.

Yura Invel

I chose Invel because he is the most well done Spriggan so far. His cool and calculating nature appeals to me, and I have great expectations for his fight with Gray. Here's me hoping he survives this encounter and possibly even gets Nakamaed.

My honourable mention is Lord August, who has some of the most potential and is almost not very villain like. I hope that he doesn't go berserk as it would utterly ruin his character appeal
