I'm starting to feel the hype. Everything is ready for the release date. A whole week blocked for this game. If SE doesn't deliver this time, someone will get hurt.

Anyway. I feel like they care more about FF14. Not that I mind but the new updates... Wow. Gold Saucer is such a nostalgic area.

I'm extremely suspicious of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD.

The fact that the Final Fantasy XV demo that's getting more publicity than the game itself is pre-order exclusive just screams "Beware!" to me. When a company incentives buying before many people actually have gotten their hands on the finished product to that degree it makes me wary. I have no faith that SquareEnix isn't try to screw people into buying a flawed remake for $60 by packaging it with a demo.

The only way I'd even consider pre-ordering is if the review embargo is lifted before the day of sale so I know what I'm getting into.

FF XV is shaping up to be a sweet deal. I am so glad that everything I asked for, this game has it: no poorly written main female leads, open world, quick battle system, nice incorporation of teleportation, dungeons, weather system, towns, NPCs, travel, airships ... I cannot believe my long list made it in. This is shaping up into a fantastic experience.

The combat looks fluid and amazing. I had my doubts at first, but this is shaping up into a beautiful game:

The typical lobby can keep crying about sausage-fest and fan-service for all I care. Will be getting this day one.

Something that stands out to me.

"Character models have around 600 bones, which is roughly 10-12 times greater than what was seen last generation."

Fun fact. The body of a real adult human being has 206 bones. So.....WTF?

It's because of the joints created for the character models. It has nothing to do with actual human bones.

JUst started Type-0 HD on PS4 (cant play the ff15 demo, downloading as we speak, cant believe it wasnt on disc). Great music. I hope I can have Eight immediately.

Final Fantasy Type-0 does look better than I thought... But some movies were not improved at all. They used the same files as on the PSP... That is a no go for a full price game.

Apart from that you get 14 characters, everyone with a different fighting style and you have to train everyone... Kinda reminds me of Pokemon actually...
Equiping weapons and stuff is very unhandy though.
The tactical battles on the world map are okay.

So far certainly not a masterpiece.

Regarding the XV demo: Now that was fun. I seriously hope the game will live up to the hype, because back then I played the FF13 demo and was kinda hyped as well...
Fighting system is a lot of fun and very smooth. I guess some bosses might be quite mean with the wrong strategy.
The music was especially awesome. Loved that style during Kingdom Hearts already.

Started the FF XV demo to do the training for combat. Its pretty fast paced and instantly flashy. I cant wait to see how other electricity type of attacks like Tempest and such, will look at more powerful versions later on. I want this game today.

JPN audio is great too, Prompto sounds splendid as does Nocto, and Gladius. Will restart and try the engDub.

There is a recommendation that you should only focus on leveling up six characters (a main team and a back-up team), who fit your style of playing/fighting.

My brother enjoys playing the demo. He hasn't fought the Behemoth yet since he wants to level up first.

Alright I think Ive gotten used to the Type 0 camera. Cant believe after a week of not playing it I forgot how to play, but fortunately it was easy to pick back up. Im still at the start of chapter 2. I took some time to replay this first chapter 2 mission to level up every character to about 15. Though I also took some time to keep playing as Eight/Ace as they are best for my type of playstyle in these type of games. I love eights attacks and power.

I like the production values in the game, especially the audio. The music is so good and the guys screaming in agony when they are defeated is pretty intense and fits well with the war. I also like the engdub voices for he characters and background dudes.

Final Fantasy XV demo 2.0 is being developed, which will offer new combat actions and fix some issues. SE is seeking to find out whether or not they can upgrade the original demo.

Possibly a no-show or very little coverage on E3 as far as the news suggests. Gamescon is the stage for FF XV.
