It's still only $15 at release, which is decent. But at a glance, it really doesn't seem like much was improved.

Yeah, I mean for those who haven't played Isaac, I think Rebirth is not a good entry level game, because the vanilla game is more than enough to teach you the basic. But for those who has decent experience at the game would notice mostly positive improvements that are introduced in Rebirth, IMHO. Since I have the vanilla BoI, I "only" paid for around US$7 which is not that expensive in my currency (esp if you compare it to AAA games like the new COD).

The Halloween deal for Isaac was insane though. You can bought both BoI and Wrath of the Lamb for only US$5 I think.

Was cheaper. They made it as some sort of pre-order bonus, I think. I don't think you need to wait for more than 3-4 months before it goes on sale again though. Recently I saw a relatively recent game like Transistor had a nice discount like a week ago.

I m a fan of telltale. I just finished walking dead season 1 and 2. I just hope clementine won t be the center of attention in season 3. She suffered enough, let her rest. Wolf among us was even better for me.

I would honestly have preferred a game more true to the books then series. I mean, they have the right medium for it..

It's understandable to use the characters and designs from the show if they were going to use those characters, so I guess they'd use the voices too. But as someone who is really into the series and just finished The World of Ice and Fire, I would have much preferred a different time in the history of Westeros. SO MUCH of that is unexplored except for excerpts from the novels and TWOIAF. It would have really been cool to have it set during The Dance of Dragons or the Blackfyre Rebellions. But I guess those things are almost completely unknown to people who only watch the show, so it might not have the same amount of appeal...meh

I played the first episode and I liked it. Clementine had a hard time with zombies and desperated human beings ... that's cute; House Forester has to deal with Ramsay Snow.

Hopefully more than the $3 discount you got from preordering. I was considering it, but with it so close to the sale, I expect better.

There's no point to buying DSII on PC right now, since Scholar of the First Sin is coming out next year.

You don't need to buy Scholar of the First Sin to receive the PC textures updates or balance changes, only some new features like 6 multiplayers capability or enemy re-positioning that are being excluded in the update of vanilla version next year.

That's not what I read... There's a problem with the old version running on DirectX 9, but the new version will be on DirectX 11, so if you want the upgraded graphics and everything you have to buy it all over again, as the patch won't work.
