• You can pick an ending of any anime you like western animation are not allowed (for expl Avatar), however endings in other languages are allowed.
• To avoid recency bias, opening of last 2 years are not allowed. You can choose any anime ending that was released up to January 2022.
• It is up to you how you define what is a best ending/outro to you. Choose your top 10 anime outros based on your personal criteria — whether it's nostalgia, visuals, music, or a mix of everything. Your submission can even include endings from animes that you've never watched. And whether you like, love or hate the anime or not is irrelevant for your list.
• Honorable mentions are allowed.
• As long as deadline is not reached, you can change your lists as much as you want.
• Please, rank your top following the usual format :

I really like this character. When hearing about Sei's resolve to unite China, he puts his kingly pride aside and doesnt immediately goes into fight back mode. instead he goes to meet with him, to see what kind of a person he is and discuss about his ambition. A smart man who wants to prevent a bloodshed in his country but won't just give it up to someone he deems unworthy.

A source of memes but I like him a lot honestly. He is so normal compared to any other character. No big feats, no flashy military art but a big and loyal heart, doing his best to serve his king and help him achieve his goals. Sure, he is no great general material but in many aspects, I think he is a genuinly good person.

Kyou Kai's sister, the root of the latter's quest for revenge. A kind-hearted girl who cared for her sister and was unfortunate enough to be born into a village with a disgusting tradition. She didn't deserve to die the way she did, but well, the ritual is just horrible, no matter how the winner goes about it.

Definitely my favorite Fire Dragon and probably my favourite character in Wei. Tragic backstory and I'm a sucker for those. Hara made a nice job of introducing him as the greatest spearman, with this one flaw that will be his demise and understandably so. A great ennemy.

An arrogant noble man with daddy issues who subsequently feels the need to belittle and shit over everyone else. He does have the talent to be a great general (or does he...) but it would be great if he stopped being an ass. He's been acting a bit more cooperative lately though. I will let those who nominated him say the positive things about his character.

I nominated him based on his recent characterization in the manga, yes. But even before his character change, I wasn't that bothered by the sass. I liked the back and forth between him and Shin.
He kind of reminded me of Neji at the start of Naruto.

Biki, Queen Mother

My favorite female character by far. A complex, multi-dimensional "villain". Once a sweet and naive girl who fell in love with the wrong man who eventually had her seemingly easy and preordained fate take a very dark turn. And thus, after many hardships, she tried to take the control back over her life and her fate. She rejected all that was forced upon her, but she had great love for those she chose. I miss her and her part in the political plotlines.

I used to love her. I still kinda do. A witty little girl who did what she could to survive. I like the idea of her being a great strategist. The real problem is her character doesn't work well within the Hi Shin army, now that Shin has been established as an instinctual type General. Back when he had no clue about how to lead a unit/army, it was great to see her helping him with tactics. But now that he is a true leader and can make his own good moves, she feels a bit unecessary. Their types don't work well together, so far, they don't feel like they are complementary; one of them has to look dumb to make the other's decision/move look clever.
The best that could happen imo would be for KRT to be a general and have her own army within the Hi Shin Army, just like Kyou Kai. Because for now, she feels like wasted potential and it is a real shame.

The gentle grandpa vibe is strong with this one. I like him so much. Very much aware about his own weakness as a mediocre general but also about his insane ability to read and see other people's strength, that's why I believe he was actually great general material. He had 2 of Qin's strongest Generals fight under him as his deputies - and not the easy-going ones - that's enough said about how good of a commander he actually is.
