The Japanese of the "Hell Plant" thing has the parts in the other order, with "Plant" first and "Hell" second. So I'm just gonna write it "Plant Hell" to make it make sense, because it does really just mean "a forest of" not "a forest which as a". So I changed that line from 55 and I'm about half way through translating 56. I'll do the rest tomorrow.

So I'm gonna keep using "she" with Terry, then.
I'm gonna use "Wu" for the Jungle's name and "Wul" for the continent's name. Even though "Wool" and "Woo" could also work, so could "Uu" and "Uuru", but they all sound dumb. Kinda like how I used "Sani" instead of "Sunny" even though that's the natural way, same with Coco and Koko and Zebra and Zebura, but they haven't had romanizations written anywhere in the manga so I can keep doing it this way.

Thanks for all of the clarifications. I didn't know so much was coming up as you translated.

As for the chapter, good stuff so far. It is great to see the imaginative side of the wild animals and plants return to the forefront. It has been a bit after the GT Robo battles.

Still, the thing that grabbed Terry has me going wtf?! XD

it's just building up though and doesn't seem to be a long arc getting the BB corn at first... Toriko cutting his shoulder was a shocker for me, since that really seemed much -> unhealthy

It seemed like a lot to slice off, but the plant's roots were digging in there so he had to make sure they were completely removed. His gourmet cells can fix that in no time if they manage to get away from the immediate danger and get some food in his system.

I love the fan submissions for food. A coconut with sake instead of milk? Very cool.

This area is crazy. Toriko should have brought a flamethrower with him. Or maybe a shirt with sleeves. That might have saved his shoulder

Capture level seems to be related to the nutritive value of the food, in other words, life-force. If you get to eat more life-force, smarter and stronger you get. Evolution demands highly energetic food, and it seems that to keep your high level body, you need to eat a lot of energy, which would be a huge lot of low level, or maybe a few high levels.

That would explain why Toriko eats a lot, and why Terry wants high level stuff.

It seems the BB Corn gathers a lot of nutriends from the high level monsters who die down below. Also, did you see the one bigger than 20 story building?

Toriko does have spoilers on 2ch. The problem is, they're entire scripts. Which would make me take a huge amount of time to translate them. Sometimes I've used them to save myself time looking up things by just copying them when doing full translations, so I don't need to type stuff out.

And plenty of people read Toriko, for a new series. Just not many talk about it on this forum.

edit: Apparently there was no long script last week. I don't check every week so maybe someone stopped doing them. But now someone's put up picture spoilers and a short spoiler, too. It's this thread;

1000度・1200度となっておりその下に流れるマグマが1400度となっている

さらに温度の高い1200度の岩石でコーンを熱し続け二日目にしてようやくポップコーンが完成する
トリコが味見したポップコーンの味に感激していると火山の噴火で塩分を含んで食べられる火山灰が舞い
トリコはＢＢコーンをフルコースの前菜に決める
すると、その場に謎の男が現れテリーが弾かれた所で終わり

Looks like Toriko got his second Full Menu item; I guess this was to make up for the long Regal Mammoth arc ending with Sani being the one to come out on top. Sani totally deserved it after all of his badass moments. His fight was much easier to understand than Coco's 12 page explanation of his new poison attack. I felt like somebody had poisoned me after trying to work my way through that text

Okay guys since the chapter already came out I am not going to spoiler tag your spoilers but keep in mind to spoiler tag your spoilers next time. Not everyone wants to be spoiled and in a serie thread, it's kinda annoying since it doesn't have separate threads but spoiler tags are the most comfortable way for everyone.

Anyway, chapter related. This was a good old toriko chapter again. Making his dish together with terry was awesome. The new opponent looks creepy but cool and going by terry's reactions he has bad intentions and he might be powerful too
