Shokugeki no Soma is recovering very well from the past bad rankings and I can see why from the story. This week chapter was the old Shokugeki no Soma I always knew. It will go back to the first place in my rankings.

I think it will fall off, not having SoTaku on a team is a grave mistake. No one wants Todokoro and Taku on the same team, such a joke that shows blatant disrespect for longtime readers.

The manga is only performing better because the other stuff is performing worst, see Amalgam of Distortion.

Something notable about the Soma chapter being is that it has no Erina dialogue (just a couple reaction shots). I think that's the first non-Erina chapter up high in quite a while.

DP, Golazo, Amalgam, Red Sprite, Dancing, this leaves 1 space open, SW1 it's not out of danger yet, unless something horrible happen to Hinomaru

regarding Amalgam, mad scientist lady got a power-up last chapter, so mc will get a power this week and next week we should be done

Please do remember that the ranking is based on the chapter from 7/8 weeks ago.
So the ranking for the Sns chapter will most likely be the conclusion of Soma vs Hayama. Not chapter 200.

Sesuji was already heading towards the ending 2 chapters ago. It was nice while it lasted.

there's probably a series filling in for World Trigger due to it being on extended hiatus, so chances are we'll only see 4 series end instead of 5.

Isn't one of the spaces Red Sprite.

And I don't understand how Demon Plan and Golazo could be planned for axing yet when these new series were probably planned before they were even initially ranked

Meh, the manga went to an all time low where it's very hard to redeem itself. Wouldn't be bothered if it fell off in the rankings soon...

So Sesuji may end next issue? Kinda sad to see it go but wish the author luck for his next work Does anyone know it print number? Around 300-500k give or take? I just found out that Sesuji's author wrote Molester Man, that was surprising.

editor did say the pace will pick and the kids will escape before the end of volume 3

Which chapter will volume 3 end, 26 or 27?

What why would they do that, they could have at least stayed until like volume 10. I would have really liked some mini arcs to better develop some of the characters, like Ray, or Norman.
