Golem Hearts was definitely the best new series from the three, but it is still far from worthy of my time, let's see if it is going to become better in the second and third chapters.

I went on 5ch today for the first time to lurk at some MHA threads and I have to ask something after checking it out: is the whole idea of "pairing" two characters together something that the west really only cares about? From everything I've seen, like what iceemperor referred to awhile ago, was true that japs only care about ranking cute girls, their chest sizes, and who they would date or have sex with. I used google translate so I might of missed something but the threads only make up of the usual fan discussion, trashing the series, or some sort of ranking. On west sites like here you have your power rankings and ship discussions. Besides Bleach's ending I don't really know of any huge blow up regarding any of this. Why are westerners so crazy about this stuff?

shipping random characters together is more of a fujoshi thing in Japan from what I've seen, male otaku tend to pretend they're the one who'd get the girl somehow (hence why faceless fat guys are by far the most common kind of men you see in hetero doujins).

Murata, Obata & Satou won that. Araki's tribute wasn't all that special as I expected it to be.

Speaking of Araki we should be getting tributes for the 30th anniversary in December, right?

All the designs are beautiful.
But Obata and Murata were the best.

Man, what a waste of talent the Obata is not on the weekly Jump.
He missed the pace to make weekly series?

So strange, this weekend an artist was wasting their talent drawing for jump and now one is wasting their talent by not drawing for jump.

Is it about that discussion about Posuka's talent?
For me it is not a waste of talent for Posuka to be in the weekly Jump, but Obata is not in the weekly Jump.

Hiroshi Shiibashi also not being on Jump is a waste.

if Gakyuu Houtei had been a success we'd probably still have weekly Obata right now.

I actually liked the series but I think being cancelled was probably better for it, it managed to have a well-paced and nicely wrapped up full story which definitely wouldn't have happened if it had continued longer (since it'd have no doubt ended up your typical nearly plot-less detective series focusing on random cases that could all easily be cut out).

But it wasnt cancelled, it was meant as a short series.

Its entirely possible that he no longer wants to work at the unreal pace of putting out 19 pages per week. He's had lots of jump series with three big hits. I remember Kishimoto also said that he would like to try a series in Jump + because of the more flexible deadlines. It says something when a lot of mangaka that have had major hits in Weekly Jump move to monthly magazines.

Didn't like the second chapter of Full Drive, the new characters look so "bland", and i can stand the MC and the tsundere girl.

TOC earlier then?
Look like not. Logicaly will be today.

I really like how Horikoshi base his covers in famous american comics. With one of the latest color pages he based it too on the cover of Batman's Death of the family.
