Does anyone know when we'll get the next batch of series? Clearly it isn't happening in issue 38, so does anyone have any guess as to when we can expect some more information?
Could be any issue really and there's not really any way of knowing beforehand.
People did mention before about Manga+ reserving 3 chapter IDs for each series in advance, but there's two gaps already so if there'll probably be two new series before anything else ends (meaning, by the time Manga+ leaks a series ending, the next batch will have already been announced in wsj).
OP 93 with a noticeable rise VoV paced decently one of the better volumes recently
KNY managed to broke pass 350k in 4 weeks (25 days) All of KNY volumes also sold more this than the latest BC volume, but eh
BC managed to crossed 200k, with a ~10k drop VoV the trend downwards isn't too bad
JJK showed a consistent pacing with a 10k growth VoV
SxF 1 managed to re-enter the top 50 in week 4 after the reprints last week and managed to crossed 100k (last time vol.1 of a series re-enter top 50 after leaving it was MHA & Yuuna from memory)
monthly next week, so we might or might not get 5 weeks from AA and Dr. stone
Kagamigami? We are talking about a manga that was supposed to be a detective+demon hunting mix, and the detective part was dropped after less than 10 chapters and female MC became irrelevant.
Eh. If changing topics/themes was a sin then Hunter x Hunter is a failure of a series and "deserved to be axed" in your words.
Haven't read Kagamigami but what you're describing sounds a lot like Yu Yu Hakusho - one of the OGs. The spiritual drama beginning was amazing, and the battle shonen afterwards was damn good as well.
Similarly for Yui Kamio I don't think the genre shift is a bad thing. Just look at Reborn. In Bakuman it's stated that gag manga can transfer to the battle genre if their rankings are bad.

Also, I seriously wish Rain Spectre would change his profile pic because whenever I read Act-Age I now associate Yonagi's darling face with nonsensical, provocative "arguments". -_-
Placing Saiyuki out of the bottom when the last chapter screamed cancellation is quite cruel lol
Samurai 8 low but taking in count the chapter isn't much of a surprise, the real test start with chapter 8 when the manga gets really good.
Neverland getting cover + lead cp? what a bore, they're really taking the time with the new series, issue #38 would be the perfect moment to start something new.
-Hero Academia and Black Clover got covers recently
-Dr.Stone got also a cover recently
-Neverland is with Dr.Stone and One Piece the title with most covers by far and it hasn't had one in a while
Guessing Neverland for next issue cover was so easy. For issue 39 I'm betting on:
-Dr.Stone (it hasn't been a lot of time since last cover but Shueisha LOVES to give covers to Dr.Stone)
-New serialization batch
Chainsawman isn't getting any cover until November, and Jujutsu and Act-age, unlike Dr.Stone, don't get any love that translates in Jump covers.
PD: Furuta Seiran is a rookie, isn't he? Then, don't expect Mangaplus releasing his oneshot.
Futura Seiran has previously published 2 one-shots in GIGA. In 2018 one called Raven, winner of Jump New World Manga Award, and this year he published Hankyouju no Taro.
Here it is Hankyouju no Taro color page.
Well we still have no idea what the plot structure is like. So it either pulls a Chainsawman and stays interesting every chapter, or establishes it's formula, or fails.
This is from 6 years ago but is interesting. A poll they did to japanese people from all ages about what were their favorite Jump titles.
