Summary and Preview
Magica, the mother of the world, gives magic along with a mark of 1-4 leaves to people who are born. People with four leaves are extremely rare. On the other side of the spectrum is the child Zip who has no leaves. He's been ostracized his whole life for being 'unloved by Magica.' He also has a hard time at the magic school he attends, since he's not capable of magic. The one thing he has going for him is his ability to take a lot of abuse without being injured. Strangely, Zip has no memory of his life before he came to this school. What is the secret of his past?
